I am canadian soldier just comming back from Afghanistan, and from my experience, no, muslims are not tolerent people. For them, every non muslim is an infidel to be dealt with, one way or another. They have no respect for people other than their own...You simply can't trust them. I wanted to comment. you are very bright and intelligent. I agree with you that we should highlight the good of people. I don't agree however that we only target minorities. I think Tim McVeigh was treated the way anyone who kills mass amounts of people is treated. it has nothing to do with skin color. He has been muslim his whole life. The problem, I'm just being direct, it's not that we don't care enough for minorities but to ME that we don't expect enough from them. Some people seem to suggest that blacks can't compete in a merit system. I'm saying they can. Of course you had to get a jab in at Israel. The truth is there were established modern Jewish settlements in Palestine well before the Israeli state was officially established. Palestine was given to the Jews by the Brits who "stole" it from the Turks, who stole it from-well you get the picture. My point is that Muslims in the region didn't have a problem with the land being controlled by outsiders as long as they weren't Jews.

Second, the Palestinians were offered their own state, but as you probably know the offer was rejected by Arafat. Finally, compared to Islamic theocracies in the region, Israel is a very open state that is tolerant of other religions.

The problem is that Islam is not a religion, it is a political movement. It is an organization dedicated to the overthrow of all governments. Dedicated to the installation of Sharia law. Any other group with a goal of the take-over of the US (and other) governments would be deemed treasonous and dealt with as treason against our government and against our president. This is not a race issue, not a religion issue -- it is a political issue.

The passage you are referring to are not the actions of Christ himself---in these verses- he is using a simple parable... We are not talking about christianity. We are talking about Islam.
