  • Best music in the game + awesome high speed boss battle makes the pain of getting to the final stage worthwhile... but then comes Big Decker... the bastard.

  • this stage i've been die many time at robot

  • Demos FX looks like it shoots wooden spears at you >.>

  • I dont get Why the Fire dragon and those bosses were in the 1990S!!!

  • That was intense, couldn't take my eyes off the screen lol

  • Nice! Gradius II bosses at the end there.

  • Its not hardest. Try it on that level. It is really funny. I think what you play is normal. Its too easy. GL on that level :)

  • 8 minutes isnt long compared to some videos streching out to 30 minutes, that are also 'bout gradius.

  • Forgot to add, starting at 7:45 to 8:23 is pointless shooting, those enemys self-destruct, except for that sphere that the brain trasforms into.

  • the guy must do nothing but play radian

  • thats right. radiant silvergun is a great game

  • gradius gaiden is the best radius ever!!

  • this stage is like gradius galaxies

  • All Gradius games have stages like this.

  • Very impressive run here to a very impressive game.

Also, for all you Starfox fans out there: 1:23 - !:28: "Use the Boost Core to get through!"

  • i will not play this fucking crazy game, i am sure anyone will become a Crazy dud once he ending this game.

  • This guy doesn't fuck around.

  • incredible response skill

  • awsome gameplay

  • I'd like to know which codec you used to rip the video. My codecs make them blurry unless you switch to the high quality version, but yours looks perfectly fine the way it is.

  • Where do you download it

  • That brain came from Life Force, made in the late 1980s. If anyone ripped off anyone, then Starfox 64 ripped off of Life Force.

  • Life Force has been around far longer than Star Fox, this brain comes from that game as mystapler said.

  • try gradius 5.

  • Wow, a Final Boss fight in Gradius that ISN'T a giant brain.

  • you're ok

  • ive never played this before

im gonna have to download it

its just like this one game i used to play on my super nintendo

    cool vid

    your hela good

  • That walker boss is badass. Too bad no one has ripped the sprites to it.

  • tat was the final boss.....? it died in like 2 hits.. wassup with tat? lol

  • All Gradius final bosses are like that. The rest of the game is so hard that the final boss fight has to be effortless in order to balance it out.

  • Not all gradius final bosses are like that

  • Okay, Salamander 2 and Gradius III (arcade) bosses excepted, most final bosses are easy.

  • Salamander 2's last boss is a piece of cake IMO

  • thats intnesne! u killed the last guy in like 2 seconds

  • Madness?

    THIS IS GRADIUS!!

  • Level 9 BGM Speed...best track in the game..nice clip

  • Crud, I'm addicted to that music track...

  • Absolutely awesome!! I am a great fan of the gradius series, but have never seen this version. Where can you get it from?

  • It was a Japanese release for the original Playstation, I believe, but you can play it on the Gradius Collection for the PSP.

  • Man, this game has some pretty awesome music.

  • Great video man! It's nice to see a human playing instead of a total freak that make you ask yourself... he's is cheating or what? BTW, I thought you gave yourself a lot of problem on Heavy Ducker... not saying my strategy is better, I have sen a video response to show you how I do it.

  • Man i can never EVER loose a life in 1 stage!

  • you know u can switch stuff like speed up,laser, option and stuff i do that its cool

  • I played throu this stage, and "Fate..." is increadibly easy stage with vic viper powered up and using guard as a shield... Boss rush gave me more problems than this stage O_o... But you play much more better than me.

  • Does the last form of the final boss become Tetran if you leave it long enough?

  • Nay, it just self-destruct.

  • A more specific name is Intruder, you don't need to shoot the final boss! Tried it. I just like to listen what the final boss tries to say to you like: "How did gotten this far?", "You think you could beat me with that? Loser?" or "Aaagghh! The Pain!"

  • I'm glad I finally got this game...on my psp. I was really looking forward to it.

  • Got this on PSP and PSX (play it via emulator of course as I don't own a modded or Japanese PSX), easily the best of the Gradius titles, and IMO even surpassing it's later sibling Gradius V.

  • lol Big Ducker's got anti-lock brakes (5:03) Awesome!

  • Woah, man I wish I could play Gradius Gaiden. I've only played from III down. :(

  • I HOPE YOU CAN ENTERTAIN ME!

    YOU DIE HERE!

    THAT DOSEN'T HURT!

I love the voice samples. They're classic Konami. And this is a BEAUTIFUL run. Good work.

  • Pretty good? This was perfect! Nice job man!

  • wow nice game and music!!

  • Nice! Good skill shown on this sweet looking game. I like all the boss battles!

  • Strange, I remember, like half of this stage from Gradius Advance.

  • @FusionArmorX All Gradius games have a speed stage like this one. That's why it might look familiar.

  • Nice job there. You're pretty good. Now let's see some second loop stuff. :P

  • Heh.. I heard the second loop of Gradius Gaiden was harder.

  • Of course it would be. It's only natural.

  • Heh heh. I ought to try to finish my second loop. I know I finisged te orginal Gradius Loop's five times before I got bored.

  • It's Hard! Though, the Moai Boss seems easier... Boost Core's Flames will now kill you, Falling snow would force your ship down, stage 7 looks different, and Heaven's Gate!

  • Nice one, mate. Easily one of the most sublime levels in the entire series - the latter part accompanied by what is undeniably the best 'mechanical base' theme to date (Inside Mission). :D

    Keep it Gradian!

  • The walker thing and the walls gave me hell, d00d. The Spinny roller leggy thing was easy. I used The Purple ship for the last stage, though.

  • I remember using Falchion Beta (The name of the purple ship) all throughout the game twice.

I personally thought Heaven's Gate wasn't that hard, but it was a big-ass boss, nonetheless.

  • You used the safety attack(hiding near it's defense pylons?) strategy?
