@rosswilson31094 Thanks Ross. Poncho's tank is a 120 Gallon. It was my Savannah Bruno's old enclosure before I built him the new one, so I moved my Ball into a new more spacious home. He used to be in the 40 gallon at the end of the video, which is plenty big for a Ball, but I think the 120 is and looks betterr.
@lynsey9814 It is really better for the Monitor and more economical to go ahead and get/build the enclosure it will be in for its whole life, rather than having to upgrade enclosures frequently as it grows. If you can, get at least a 120 gallon tank from the get-go that would be ideal. If this is not possible, a baby bosc can live comfortably in a 55 gallon until it reaches about a foot and a half. BTW If you chose to put a substrate in there make sure to feed it out of the cage. Good luck.
That one is a bumblebee cichlid in its dark coloration. Usually the dominant one will be less yellow and pretty dark in color...so if yours is never yellow it might be a different species.
The Demasoni isn't really aggressive towards the others. It's the more dominant light blue/black striped C. Afra that is the bully of the tank. Started with three of them and he's the only one left.
Hey I appreciate it. Yeah, I built it myself, if you check some of the comments on my other vids you can find out cost and dimensions and whatnot. It was well worth it.
The minimum size would be a 125 gal, but that is pushing it. something over 200 gal would be much better, and there really is no limit; the bigger the better. The tank I built for my Sav is about 400 gal and I still wish I'd had more room to be able to build it bigger for him.
Yeah, the Goldie lucked out and got that upgrade to the 40 breeder from a 10 gal when I built the Savannah's enclosure. I had a lot of left over decor as well so it worked out. It really doesn't take as long as most people think to maintain, about 30 min to and hr a week.
No I really haven't made any effort to tame him, I am too worried about him getting away. When I first brought him home, he got lose and I accidentally broke his tail off trying to catch him. I was so mad about the tail, and it took me a while to catch him, so I decided to only take him out when I change the bedding.
nice! u should get a pleco in there

@TheReptilesandbirds I had a gold nugget in there for a while but the africans were too aggressive towards it so removed it.
