  • hahah the epiphany is a metal ion i have one they have the same modes ions are better because u can upgrade to an epiphany and get more with the ion to epiphany u get a blackheart board 360 QEV epiphany firing can firebolt and a new regulator spring ion is FTW!!! but egos and Dms are better

  • tiffy is and heavy ion thats all

  • something sp always does good at is the trigger guard always has a lot of room

  • i had an epiphany and don't get me wrong it was a decent gun but it was way too un efficient for me. and i hated how it didn't come with a locking feedneck.

  • good gun i have 1 but did they used to have a diff board like blackheart b/c my ligh is red not blue, or does his just have a aftermarket board

  • i got one of this babies but light blue instead of black 8D

  • when it came out it was 425

  • wow $425 i got mine new for $250

  • Yes. SP lowered the price after they released the EOS, which is replacing the Epiphany in their product line. The EOS is basically an Epiphany updated with a bolt-out-back body.

  • using steely 48/3000 high pressure, which insert would be most efficient And consistent, green or blue?

  • Could you explain the different inserts that go inside the gun

what do they do, and are they worth changing them? I believe they are colored blue, green, and silver

  • They are all different sizes and control the volume of the valve chamber. By making it smaller, the valve can recharge faster. Check out the review at WARPIG, there is a VR model that shows how the internals all work.

  • The Epiphany's gauge only goes to 300 psi. It should be run around 280 psi. If it's set to over 300 psi the marker won't work properly, and may blow off hoses inside.

  • would u prefer this for the invert mini?

  • i love my mini

  • does the epiphany come with barrel inserts or do u have to buy them seperate??

  • It comes with one insert.

  • i have a big question does epiphany have ramping because im getting it or the pmr but i want the epiphany but dont wanna buy a virtue board so please answer me

  • Yes, it does. Smart Parts calls it "Rebound" mode.

  • No, the stock feedneck is a friction-fit feedneck.

  • The Epiphany has a smaller fire chamber than the Ion or Ion XE (it's explained in this video) to get rid of shoot-down. The EOS is like a newer version of the Epiphany - it works the same but has a new body with easier bolt out back maintenance. As for whether the Rail or Epiphany is better - depends on what features and feel you like/want.

  • the epiphany is only 199$ at canadianpaintball

so its better than the ion, but how bout an ion with a virtue board

  • If you compare the Epiphany and EOS to the Ion and Ion XE, the Epiphany and EOS have a smaller fire chamber, to prevent/reduce shoot-down when you rapid fire. That's a physical difference in the valve, you can't get that by putting in an upgrade board.

  • is that a gribbes trigger?

  • i want to get a halo, pulse, vlocity jr. or a torqe wat should i get?? (for a epiphany to shoot at full potential b/c egg 3 isnt workin out)

  • pulse with rf chip is the best

  • 2pounds 3oz

  • spyder phoenix pwn ion epiphany

    LAWL JKKKKK

  • lol what eve

  • most ppl dont know this but u can run co2 threw any gun with out anti-syphone the way to do it is to connect it with a remote line the reson u can do this is that the liquid is on the bottom of the tank THE TANK MUST STAND UP RIGHT ANY TIME U FACE IT 180 DEGREES UR GUN WITH FILL WITH LIQUID take off the tank and start agein after 30 minites for CO2 to evaporate

  • their only $200-$250 now wooot

  • i gotta admit......im moit,i cant wait to get this beast

  • epiphany or proto slg ?

    please answer!

  • go with epiphany man

  • slg is really uncomfertable.

    go with the epiph

  • Dued they lowered the price on the PMR it is better that the SLG or the Epiphany but for the same price 250

  • well the epiphany is a better STOCK gun than the pmr but throw a ultralite barrel and a ul trigger frame on there and u will rip now the question is whether u want to spend the extra 250 on it

  • the pmr costs the same as slg now get that its better than both!

  • epiphany by far,im not putting the slg down but to preform like the epiph it would take about 150 - 200 dollars

  • niether get a pmr, u will thank me

  • im getting one on wednesday hopefully

  • i would get an epiphany, ions are over rated, everyone has them, even all those little kids

  • i agree all my friends have on , the proto slg's are defnately gunna replace them

  • Buy something else, SP embodies everything wrong with paintball today.

  • Halo v35 rip/ and 68 4500 tank

  • id personally go with the epiphany if i had the money

  • epiphany or ion ??

  • epiphany definitely, because if u upgrade the ion to epiphany performance levels, then it will cost you at least 300 dollars, but for

50$ more u could just get the epiphany that looks cooler =)

  • IIIIIOOOONNNN!!!

  • What Kind of Tank/Hoppers do you guys have for your Epiphanys?

  • Which is better Smart Parts Epiphany or Redz ion?

  • i would roll with the ion

  • everyone when for the epiphany expecting an ion with extras but they are wrong this marker is a significantly different gun built on the same platform but with almost every feature improved from the box

  • Ya i bought an epiphany.. but i got it for 100$ off so it was definatly worth getting it over the ion. I dun kno what everbodies complaining about the epiphany is still awsome and its still better than the ion just not as better as most people hoped.

  • i have one and it is great and if you want u can upgrade it but look at how much u gonna spend compared to an epiphany

  • why buy one when you can upgrade your ion for less money and it shots great.

  • if you want to get an epiphany...dont

everoyne i have talked to HATES theirs...

just get an ion, get a new trigger for it if you want, who really cares about the "side-to-side" motions on the trigger, and a new bolt and you have a gun equivalent to an epiphany

maybe put a little QEV in there and a new board too

  • sweet, a new ON/OFF button... the ONLY problem the ion ever had.

  • LOL

  • i dont care what anybody says the grips on this thing feel amazing, and the body is hot, it kinda looks like a shocker. im getting one and putting a virtue in it

  • WOW u know alot about paintball... u jackass with ur pmr do u know how heavy the Epipany is, its 2.3 pounds so dont tell me its double the weight u idiot. And on mine i have lighter upgrades so its even lighter then the ion so learn ur shit before u post...

  • i agree

  • last i checked, higher pressure equals more kick, more kick equals less accuracy and not so easy on paint, also that thing is about double the weight of my pmr, alot slower, and they are the same price, smartparts dissapointed me with that gun, proto totally took the bacon in the 400 price range

  • i have a virtu ion it pawns

  • ok im a total newb at paintball but it sounds to me as if all it has is a power button?

  • ... no.

  • lol phil1254

  • bassically its just wranting on about the magnesium body ive felt this gun and shot 1 its way heavier than any ion and 2 its the same board its double the price of an ion for bassically the samething except feed neck, trigger, and on off and the much heavier magnesium body and there where alot better uhhhhs to that whole interview

  • Weight is about the same as a standard Ion. The body is heavier, but the grip frame is thinner and lighter, and the feedneck is smaller and lighter. The internals are different as well, to reduce shoot-down.

  • The Epiphany has an smaller volume fire chamber that can be adjusted with inserts. This allows the Epiphany to shoot faster than the Ion without velocity drop-off problems because the smaller chamber can recharge faster.

  • The biggest upgrade is the new internals to keep it from having shoot-down.

  • wats better epiphany or pmr??

  • PMR, by a long shot, epihany is capped at 17bps, and the PMR is capped at 30bps and the epiphany is way heavier, and the PMR is way light, and the PMR has more ups. so.... PMR!

  • pmrs are way better

  • It seems like the picked up this random guy off the streets. After watching this it changed my mind about the epip.

  • lmao....when asked the differences between it and the ion he only talks about the placemtent of the power button, the operating pressure, and that its made of magnesium covered in rubber

  • How can you not figure out that it IS but a tricked out ion...he just said there will be an upgrade for the ion to bring it up to epiphany performance...booyackasha

  • IM getting this gun it is ossum

  • well herro hans

  • nice gun

  • They are advertising there tv show...

    It looks weird.

  • Ever tried to light magnesium with a blow torch? It won't when it's that thick. Turbine engines are built out of it. It handles heat fine. You've got to hammer it down thin to get plenty of surface area and minimize the heat that will be dissipated through the rest of the metal if you want to get it to ignite. And since people don't normally hammer down the end of their paintgun to a ribbon and blow-torch it on the field, that isn't really an issue, is it?

  • I believe it was just a legitimate question man, don't think he really needed to be flamed.

  • didn't sound like a flame to me

  • By volume, magnesium is lighter. That means building a gun of the same design with aluminum would be heavier. That's why it is used in aerospace and high end sports gear where weight matters, like high end racing bicycles and sport motorcycles.

  • this marker rocks

  • sweet

  • Pssh. I got my SHOCKER for 400..

  • wow we dont care
