I'm sorry but she has my dumpling wrapping technique and the ingredants are not original Chinese. However, i's sure its good, but that's my take. =) please my flame
Bauhinia in Shrewsbury Ma. 16 to an order not the super thick skinned kind nice tender shin and the filling is succulent and NOY oily. I mix some Siracha with the ginger sauce great stuff!!!! and the presentation is beautiful and on a HOT platter so they do not get cold.
this is a big misunderstanding of chinese dumplings.! theres not fucking cheese in the fillings! what the fuck!? he still has the galls to say its traditional?!
sadly, I only eat the very Americanized steamed dumplings from some local places which really don't compare to real Chinese dumplings that my grandma's best friend make at home..
my parents own a chinese restraunt so butterfly shrimp with green peppers ,onions, scallions, egg pancake in the there is bacon and cream cheese is good the show was awsome.
I LOVE Hong's Dumplings, they are incredible, and huge! I usually buy 5, and am full after 3. I think I'm actually going to walk downtown and get some now!
Of course they're not traditional dumplings. They were made for the American consumer's taste buds. Just like how Chow mien isn't even "real" Chinese food, but you see Americans buy it all the time.
I love dumplings as a Chinese myself but you call that dumplings? Wait till you authentic dumplings....That dumpling looks too oily to be consumed. URGH~ as if I am eating grease.
I'm a freak for the crab & cream cheese dumplings! I could eat just those for dinner & be happy. Too bad Chung's in Cleveland,& the Tahiti in westlake are gone. They made them the best in these parts.
Those are some healthy sized dumplings. I love this lady, home-cooked, almost rustic in a way. How dare you show such a close-up of the dumplings when I'm not in Vermont? T-T
Aw - that's great. You're lucky!! Can I come to dinner?? :) - Seriously though, thanks for watching my show. You should send me some pics of the dumplings, I'll put then on our facebook page!
im a dumpling junkie!! i can't quite decide which is the best i've had. either this one restaurant in chinatown in houston, USA, or just an extra delicious batch here in delhi. (theyre one of the most popular streetfood here, and theyre local food of people from the northern regions of india - neighbouring tibet mostly). in fancy restaurants in delhi they sometimes make excellent ones ( = thin chewy wrapping and soupy inside). havent found great dumplings in europe so far though...
Oh my .. this looks so delicious! I like the fact that they're all different in size and shape - makes them look home made and extremely tasty! Ah .. I'm hungry :)
I'm bad with videos but I could definitely take some pictures for you! I assure you though, most of the stalls I've come across sell one thing and one thing only... Hot chips haha
no way xD I dont even live in United States...I live in Portugal... But I really wanna go there and when that happen I WILL FOR SURE TRY DUMPLINGS !! :D
well we have more sweet stuff like churros, crepes ( kind of pancakes), etc. But the most traditional is Bifanas ( I think you call it medallions of pork ) which we put in the middle of the bread with a portuguese typical sauce. And also Sausages a lot of portuguese sausages xD... but we dont have a lot of street food... we have that more when there is traditional festivals or commemorations...WE LOVE TAVERNS..Its like British pubs xD...
Great ep. The best stuff is always in the weirdest places. You'd think given the success of this cart in Burlington that there'd be one on every street corner in places like NY.
Was just there. Nom nom nom.

the best chinese food I've ever had was in my hometown.
Sadly they got new recipies and are almost going out of buisness.
but my god, that sweet and sour pork and ginger beef was FANTASTIC.
the next best thing is the noodle boxes in fan tan alley from the cafe in victoria, bc canada.
