Just a little tip don't tighten the axel nut too tight, I learned the hard way, you should use a torque wrench, if over tighten the bearings will go a lot quicker, got a Saturn been changing bearings every 6-18 months until I looked up my vehicles torque rating
Yep, that bad wheel bearing sounds exaclty like my sisters Civic did a few weeks ago. But I think because we dont have the time or money to replace it, the bearing is so bad, it sound noral again. lol
@WVfarm3rboy Do you really want to ask that? Are you sure?
Ever wonder why the pink Buick has no hubcaps? They were the locking type and some wizards at the local tire shop decided that they'd just pry 'em off.
@vwestlife Their prognosis was not good. It wasn't too good to start with and only got worse later. I couldn't even find a miniplug in the cord or any evidence of one.
I sure hope the rain clears up soon your you two (just wait 15 minutes, right?), and that the second bearing is easier/faster to replace. Anyway, this video put a smile on my face :)
I was wondering if you were going to replace the other side. While I was in there, I would have put new brake pads on too. They usually aren't the most expensive and since it is already apart. Course you gotta keep your eye on the Keykeeper. Keep putting them pads in backwards, Mom will be replacing her mechanic. Or is that the idea?
buddy of mine had one of those park avenues. same year I think. He took 2 of them and put 1 together. bought 2 totalled cars. one in the rear, one in the front. cut both cars in half and welded them together, had it professionally done.
@Kujokouklos I'm not in greece. Of course it is legal to do, he got the car and had a Salvage Title drawn up. the only "legal" way you can do it here in the states.

@THEtechknight OMFG!!!! This is highly illegal in Greece, you are not allowed to even replace the floor of the car if it becomes rusty!!!!!!!
I do not believe that this is a safe thing to do......
