And sword warriors are for more than 'pressure' there's some pretty potent damage builds as well.
Ok...we all kno that Assassins usually pwn Warriors in 1on1...and we all kno that Assassins cant pwn them if they use the RIGHT 1on1 skills...Such as Riposte and Gladi Defense!

Besides, too many warriors run Riposte/Deadly Riposte in PvP, there's not enough creativity anymore, people use wiki builds too often =/
I totally understand you, riposte really sux, but you ahve to say that Assassins (out of the signet noobs, who are even abder than riposte wars) cant beat Riposte-Wars. But I´m always tryin to find new builds for myself and usually they make more fun than Sig or Ripostes :)
Yea...That's pretty much not true? Every class, no matter how it's set up, can be countered. Not just by a team, but by a single player. I know the game isn't -meant- for 1v1's, it was made for team combat, but no class is invincible in a 1v1 and they can all be taken out.
I hate how people run auto-block stances then act like it's a testament of skill.
As for War Vs Asn, it all depends on who has more interupt/kd. I've spiked the shit out of plenty of assassins, and been spiked to shit by plenty more.
a testament of skill????idk what that means but sins are really defense deprived as you warriors have defence in excess its just a skill and it is one that many sins use and if you can hit them than thats ur problem personnaly you can just go anti block or kd if ud like but as for this comment it is way out of proportion as to weather is someone has "skill" when using one skill togther with 2 ore 1 other skill that just shows how much they understand there profeshion
Assassins have some of the best self heals available in the game, along with a plethora of enchantments and stances that block or increase armor. They are hardly "defense deprived". To say their armor pales compared to Warrior armor is a fair statement, but "defense deprived" is false.
As for beating block, I run W/N with Rigor Mortis plenty, but mainly to deal with Monks, not Assassins. I'm not complaining about blocking, most that depend on it get eaten by the first Ele or Necro to walk by.
well i techanicly dident mean by skills i was talking about the armor itself as for skills ROFL neone who would even dream about defence being not avalible to sins has something wrong with them or never played one cause sins have basicly the best defences in the game agains mele but yes u can get like rlly fed up by casters so yeah also we do have som pretty reliable self heals so im not complaining there i am making a vid of me soloing shiro on 100% sin skills check it out
Can't believe I missed this little debacle. Anyway, this was hardly a 'testament of skill'. If I wanted to do that, I'd throw up videos of what I run nowadays, this build was always kind of lame. There isn't necessarily anything 'wrong' with defensive stances or skills though, they are there for a reason, and to be honest, I could have ripped him a new one, even with this build, without crit defenses, it was more than over-kill here. If you notice at the end, I mostly stopped reapplying.
Video still is hot though.

i have a 9 and a half second average for block/ripsote wars assassins and monks
assassins are quick killers,not the nooby assassins today that block run away and come back when reinforcements or health is back.

Thats why GW is a team-based game, but yet it is a balanced game throughout all classes, since they will usually be in numbers.
GW is not exactly for 1v1..
1v1 is not balanced in GW.

not true, running a sin spike/smite build breaks past them.
just used it earlier, killed a decent warrior from my guild in seconds.
