This is one reason why Ron Paul would get rid of the department of education and why bush is convinced that history will exonerate him after his reign.
Why do you think the rich send their kids to private institutions?
The public schools indoctrinate the next generation of sheep, and the private schools provide the ruling class with the tools required to exploit the "sheeple".
Think for yourself instead of accepting the spoon-fed, watered down doctrines of the masses.
i agree completely with gatto. brilliant guy, but i don't think that you're right about the difference between private and public schools. i attended both and they both follow pretty much the same functional model. they are both breeding grounds i can assure you. i think that gatto actually hinted at a related idea at the end of the video when he says that the system becomes an 'autonomous social technology'. the elite are bred the same way and they don't even know the how or why of it.
agreed. They probably both use the same systems for the promising young bureaucrats once they've separated them from the "common stock" or "profane" as they're called in Freemasonry.
@polyzygote that's why we should have free-market in education so there would be competition, but in order for that happen we have to get government out of the way as much as possible; that means no tax-payer funded schools, no compulsory education laws, and no teacher unions. Of course that can't happen overnight, you have to do it step by step; from the government level, then the state level, then the local level.
@FireGuyX It is impossible to pull it away from any government, they have the ability and willingness to use violence. The people who depend on the forced system will not support any changes unless there is already in place a better alternative. The way to get rid of the toxic violent system (not just schooling but the whole thing) is to build a distributed free/open alternative that is so much better an and so spread out that it can't be stopped by force.
