  • @Earrot

you voted for obama huh? i think that is exactly what this song is railing against. obama is the 'herder" and i ain gonna be a sheep. lambs to the slaughter?..........

  • @edslides1 No = the real sheep are the ones that mention the president by name in a comment on youtube.

The reason that the "powers that be" are able to control people is because people are easily distracted and fooled and anyone thinking about the president is both.

If you were NOT a sheep - you would say something about your mayor or local offices - but you are like 90% of the people - they don't know the first thing about any of that stuff. WAKE UP SHEEP

  • brilliant...period.

  • Something's wrong, I see intellectual comments with logic and thought on a youtube video!

  • This is angry Pink Floyd, particularly noticeable in Dave Gilmour's guitar playing at the end of this track and on Dogs as well... He was genuinely peeved at the time. There was a growing animosity between him and Roger Waters, and RW would not let Gilmour sing on Animals. DG's guitar playing is so expressive and just awesome.

  • Just cut all the shit out....'Four Legs good, two legs better!'

  • Classic Floyd

  • pyrotechnic flying sheep

    check this out

  • David Gilmour is the best guitarist for only his style. The songs that are slow and not so fast. He doesn't possess a speed in guitar solo like Eddy van Helen who is extremely fast . I'm not trying to compare these two guitarists because I know that they have different styles. However, Gilmour's guitar solo in the songs like Time, Dogs, Another Brick in the Wall Part ii, and Comfortably Numb were exellent. That's the kind of songs where he can play his guitars the best.

  • @MrDerake its one thing to play your guitar as fast as you can and people thinks its cool, but its another to slow it down so you can really hear it and change peoples outlook on life with it. your right you cant really compare the two but i still think gilmour is a far better

  • I never laughed so hard the way he throws the bottle @ 1;04

  • @chrisgallo99 haha i didn't even notice that! he looks drunk as shit!

  • Rick's intro organ is just awesome

  • what is the whole thing with Rodger and david i never got it because im only seventeen and missed out on the greatest time period of music history.

did they hate eachother or idk some one explain.

  • @TheSlevaslava what happened was that roger began to believe that he was the llight and truth in pink floyd. he had 3 albums that were largely his creation, Dark Side Of the Moon, which became the biggest selling rock album of all time. Then as of the success of that, he became a more prolific and controlling member. Animals was also largely his creation, and then The Wall came to him at which point he completely took over.

  • @smackythefrog23

ohh thanks man Pink Floyd is the greatest band

  • Was that pig talking!?

  • Tripping and smoking joints with friends that my parents hated in my early 20s. Always when I listen to this music all the emotions and memories come up again. Hopefully I will have the sence to do drugs again, once I have reached the age of 60 or 70.

  • This is experimental music

  • It's dark and painfully insightful...tastefully ugly !

  • i love pink but the animals is a very strange record

  • @TheSlevaslava no not strange but one the all time highlights of musical maturity

  • @themusicdr i call it strange who r you to contradict me.

i like it its just strange too me thats all.pink flyod rocks

  • @TheSlevaslava i am who i am

and as you are entitled to think it strange i am entiteld to disagree with you

  • @themusicdr

well think it dont tell me gezz fuck of dude just enjoy the music and leave me alone

yes you can have you opinion but dont reply on my comment

  • @TheSlevaslava why dont you adhere to your own philosophy. by replying to my comment you are doing the v opposite of what you suggest to others, and not particularly eloquently either

  • @themusicdr

im not trying to sound like a geniuses its youtube.

second you replied to my comment first and what im just supposed to not reply back

are you serious.just end it what i ment was it is strange as in deep and dark masterfully writen by a music genius

  • @TheSlevaslava fair enough. but if you post a comment you cant expect that no-one will ever respond to it

as you say lets just enjoy this great music

  • @themusicdr

    right on brother.

  • Pink Floyd Melhor Banda dos ANOS 60

  • @967831 PINK FLOYD LA MEJOR BANDA DE LA HISTORIA

  • Como me gusta este cd..aunque nunca habia visto los videos, muy buenos!

  • I LOVE IT TO WITH OR WITHOUT GILMOUR always will animals is my favorite album of all time excuse any spelling errrrers

  • I hate corporate radio. Floyd never was really a corporate darling...thank god. Those idiots can't program their VCR/DVD player's clock let alone pick the music I would listen to. I love Pink Floyd and always will. They are timeless. Whether or not you like Roger and prefer Gilmour, it's all great music. I love it all.

  • a farmers acid trip???

  • At least Roger allowed the original to be posted. Better than Jagger or Dylan would do.

  • wow

  • pure fucking quality !!!

  • Mistake my ass!!!! Just your damn preference. Roger wrote some killer lyrics but without Gilmour nobody would have heard of him. Even Syd knew this I believe. Gilmour's stuff after Floyd wasn't as strong in most cases but in some it was but much better than Water's. Gilmour was the sound of Floyd. You just need to listen.

  • Gilmour's gituar playing is always 2nd to none--but on this CD, he is devasting!!

  • This is about The Wall Show at the

  • LA memorial sports arena and i showed up before any of his other friends could. it was 9th row and i paid $10 for it. we drank a peyote milkshake about an hour before we got there. I remember that the audience never left their seats the whole time. Everyones jaw was on the floor the whole time. Stunned, Awed, In disbelief...you name it. I will never forget it. They only played NY and LA. In my own opinion, there is no Floyd without Waters And Gilmore together as FRIENDS! Enough ego BS!

  • @randybohl

peyote is from a cactus right how do i know what it looks like.

you are one of many that got to enjoy pink flyod i would give a kidney to see them

seriously you are a lucky lucky guy.

  • @TheSlevaslava Roger Waters the Wall Tour is happening this year. Go see it. But keep your kidney.

  • this song is for berlusconi fans

  • I've been a fan of Floyd since November 1993. When I saw them perform at LIVE 8 in 2005 I had tears in my eyes because, not only was it the first time I saw all members play together and I was so happy to see that younger people got to see a band that has a message behind their lyrics. I was surprised that they didn't play "Mother" because, that would've been the ultimate protest song of the concert but, Floyd has always been the band to stay away from media attention because of Roger.

  • Pink Floyd's best stuff came when Roger and David were working together. Roger was a brilliant song-writer, but David was the one who really polished the sound and made it work. Neither one did anything close to what Pink Floyd did together between "Wish You Were Here" and "The Wall."

Neither David Gilmour's post-Roger Floyd stuff nor Waters' solo efforts are anywhere near as strong as they were together. And that's even considering Roger worked with stellar guitarists like Eric Clapton.

  • @confuciuscubed You're quite right, it's a shame it didn't work out between them eventually, otherwise we would have 25 years of more brilliant music..

  • @confuciuscubed YES!! YOU DO KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOUR TALKING ABOUT. ITS A SHAME THERE ARE TOO MANY IDIOTS OUT THERE WITH NO IDEA.. THUMBS UP TO YOU!!

    ROCK ON FLOYD

  • @confuciuscubed Rogers solo stuff ? another listen ?

  • @confuciuscubed but still Roger s solo stuff is not bad at all ! I was almost going nuts because I got into it so much. I am not nuts but still Roger Waters did do a lot of good music being solo. Shame he didn t have much success.

  • @rekycheky Roger's solo stuff is good, but come on, it doesn't hold a candle to the work he did with Gilmour when Pink Floyd was in its prime. Pink Floyd did great things because Gilmour and Waters had such great complimentary talents. Unfortunately they didn't have great complimentary personalities.

  • @confuciuscubed they would have never been so successfull without eachother. Just like Led Zeppelin. Every single musician was the key to ultimate success. It is something that has to be considered very carefully when forming a band: Are we suitable to eachother.

  • @confuciuscubed Good call. But don't forget The Final Cut!

  • @confuciuscubed the division bell is one of my favorites.....i beleive that was after rogers was around, and i think its just as good as any of there other stuff, but i agree neither rogers or gilmour is better than one another

  • @confuciuscubed But David Gilmours' efforts are MUCH better than that of Waters'...shows who had the stuff to keep going.

  • @confuciuscubed Very true, but you mean "between Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall" ;)

  • @confuciuscubed Have you heard Amused to Death? It's as good if not better than any Floyd album.

  • england rocks man!!!!!

  • 183 comments ? what the fuck? This band dose more than any other are u bloddy fuckkng me fuck u, u fucking fucks!

  • Did you mean to say "This band DOSED more than any other"?

  • @cosmicharlie1970 Jimmy Hendricks has the tops on that chart

  • @TheBdweiserman hendrix....

  • cool the bass line is the same as "Careful with that axe, Eugene" never noticed that before

  • MAGIFICI

  • Best track on Animals

  • David is the sound and voice of Pink Floyd:Money,Time,Wish you Where here,I can't imagine somebody else singing those masterpieces...Final Cut was a big mistake...David was lazy by this time, that was the last thing Roger done with PF...But don't get me wrong,l love Roger too.

  • you nailed it! You put down what I've been trying to analyze for years! Gilmours voice/musicianship, marriaged with Waters knife slicing /musings on life ....

Very Good(that does sum it up!Pink Floyd Fan....Doesn't it?

  • A|bsolutely. If you check Roger and David solo albums, they are nothing comparing to Pink Floyd...Final Cut was just Roger, really tedius.A Momentary...well,David had no choice,he just want to carries on.They were really powerful working together, you can compare them with Lennon/McCartney,their stuff pos Beatles is a joking if you compare when they're writing together on the 60's

  • @1919frain A big mistake?? I gotta respectfully disagree dude. I love that album.

  • @slingkey comparing it with the others albums, it's weak.Big mistake because Roger done everything,(where's David Classic guitar and voice?, must of the songs were out of the "the Wall" sessions for be weak ,so why the hell Roger wanted to record them? Why not move on and make a great different album with the help of David and Nick? This album been the reason why Roger wanted stop Pink Floyd,he was disappointed or maybe ashamed, embarrassed?.But,sure a lot people still like it,like in your case.

  • @1919frain Roger has moved on .In style

  • Dave Gilmour guitar on "the animals" album is tremendus like in all Floyd stuff.Just imagine Pink Floyd without him...I can't really.

  • Floyd aint Floyd without Roger Waters, Floyd post Waters were a pale immitation of The Pink Floyd of old.

  • Right,Comforably Number,Another brick on The wall,Time without David solos...Do you think they would be the same?Come on.Immitation???David and Richard created the floyd sound, they just carried on...Have you checked "On The turning away,Learning To Fly,High Hopes,Marooned"? Better you do,great songs.Roger was great with David.Roger had great ideas but needed someone to put them in practice, here comes David.

  • wat i mean is... was this from like a movie based on animal farm?

  • if you read the description it says"Part 4 of Pink Floyd's Album Animals set to video of Hallmark Entertainment's Animal Farm." so to answer your question....yes

  • was this video based on animal farm? im pretty sure it was

  • Magnificent work.

    Peace.

  • Animals was based on the book "Animal Farm."

    Gotta love that "creeping Malaise."

  • Loosely...

  • saw this tour 1976 Miami baseball stadium

  • Lucky you!

  • I noticed the last two times I brought up Pink Floyd's "Sheep" on two different videos there was a virus. Something the illuminati don't want the world's sheep to know?

  • It's obvious things are not what they seem, now theres a doozy :D

  • this songs awesome

  • This song...

  • Wave upon wave of demented avengers march out of obscurity into a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmMmMmMMMmMmMmMmMmMmMmm

  • what do ya get for pretending the dangers not real?

  • What about Dave??? feel the guitar guys...what about Rick??? feel the key guys, what about Nick??? what fucking drums...l'm so sick to read Roger is the greatest, why the hell he didn't carry on making great album like Animals, dark side or wish you were here?? l tell you why guys,'cause Dave,Richard or Nick were not there with him. This song you're hearing now is Pink Floyd(4 great musicians) that's why is powerful...

  • yeah but the idea, the concept was on the mind of Waters. Read a little.

  • Roger is the greatest

  • shut duh fuck up rabbid dick, how you gonna say that bout my shit

  • You know you got a real intelligent review of a book when the word "gay" appears in it!

  • Your one hell of an ignorant dumbass, man.

  • right and you are a fascist!...stupid nazi! burn at hell!

  • Godwins Law "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of comparison to Nazi's or Hitler approches 1." looks like you lost.

  • That's what you get when you think the danger's not real...

think again... it's a real danger

  • it's not just a movie sportsfans, it's an adaptation of orwell's animal farm which is a metaphor for the emergence of marxism, but is now taking on a second life as a sci-fi metaphoric allegory, ie we're all going to pay the piper, especially with technology able to id us and compartmentalize us, get ready for neo scientific fascism.... the real big brother

  • Roger Waters wrote" Sheep".
