@indandancer how can any one beat the GOD! of rockabilly wheres your dad i dont see him on youtube do you show me how good your dad is then and put him on playing better then guitar GOD! you should look up your history abit more cause no one can beat the god of guitar ;-)
Great question. Not sure he ever performed that on a TV show back in the '50s. I know that I've never seen a video. By the way, the same Louis Armstrong single that had "Zat You, Santa Claus" on one side had "Cool Yule" on the flip side (a song written by Steve Allen). Too bad the single never hit any of Billboard's music charts.
I didn't know there was a sax player named Steve Allen back in the day. I assumed "Cool Yule" was written by the late comedian/celebrity/talk show host Steve Allen because...according to his biography on wikipedia...the comedian/celebrity/talk show host Steve Allen was also a songwriter (writing hundreds if not thousands of songs). As such, I assumed "Cool Yule" was written by the celebrity/comedian/talk show host Steve Allen. But...I could be wrong.
I love this video, if there is any way to warm up to Xmas, its with Brian! His face is great with the familiarity of playing the Stray Cat Strut solo. V
Sneaky Stray Cat Strut solo, don't think we didn't notice...

Is he wearing creepers?

I think the reason Brian is yelling at Santa is because Santa stole Brian's milk and cookies last year.

Young or old, it doesn't matter, you have to like Brian Setzer's Christmas music. Great stuff.

That was great! As is expected of Brian, i'd move to America just to go to his concerts.

Great, fun performance by Setzer. Even if he did flub the ending by repeating the second verse instead of the end verse.
