This show from Largo was alot like the show I saw in Sept '79 in Chicago. Peter couldn't keep time worth a shit. The band looked tired. I thought the show had some good moments but was far from the much better Alive 2 tour of '77/'78.

@pluckhutma Hey dude! I was at the show in Chicago when Judas Priest warmed up for KISS. The problem was the International Amphitheater sucked for sound quality. It was a perpetual echo chamber. I did not have the best seats for sound, but was 15 rows off to the side of the stage and sort of behind a bit. To be honest, I could not make out hardly any of the music the whole night. God of Thunder was the first tune I could recognize right away.

I don't remember exactly where my seats were other than remembering looking straight ahead to see them. At the time I was not familiar with Priest. I just remember being mesmerized by the vocals in Victims Of Changes. I was only 9 yrs old at the time.

Too cool, this was at the old Capital Centre long since torned down. I remember when I bought Alive 2 when it came out, I was blown away more by the song ROCKET RIDE than any of the tunes Mr Demon did with the exception of God of Thunder. Ace's songs are great rock tunes.

Also, try touring all the way around the world and being in your 50's. KISS has accomplished more in their lives than probably any band. I love this song! By far my favorite out of anything Kiss has done...with "I Was Made for Lovin' You" a close 2nd. But with all do respect this is a HORRIBLE live rendition. I guess without the safety net of the studio enhancing their vocals they don't sound too hot! It doesn't diminish how much I like the song I lose a lot of respect for Kiss.
