@LennyBound Thanks a lot, LennyBound. I take your point, but I don't know... if 73,000 people listened to me play this in my living room, I'd be pretty excited.
I am not sure, but I think I never seen such a well made video before in my life. Also I really, really, really, really, really, [...], really like that song.
Cool work, you got talent. I never did quite figure out who made the song.... Can't be you can it? Your name doesn't appear on Spotify, so hopefully it's not you:P
this is so amazing. i watched it in my math class the other day and it was breathtaking. i noticed some of my friends parents in there, which was really neat to see. i even saw my grandpa who use to work there. this is honestly the most amazing thing i have ever seen.
Love this. I listen to this several times a week. Thanks for the free album download. I like it very much and this is my favorite song from it. Keep making music. You're very talented.
i graduated from FUHS only 4 years ago but after watching this video it feels like much longer than 4 years. thx so much for this video, it has brought back so many memories
This is a touching tribute to youth. The comment on Rohner Park's once being a field is like nostalgia within nostalgia. The snippets of memory when you were young. A vague recollection of remembering something, the wanting to return to those moments, and knowing without quite remembering that your mind was once a fertile field of creativity, possibility, especially when you were even younger.
Well said! Yes, what happened to those days where the future was before us and the possibilities were endless.....I guess life hits us in the face with reality. Oh to be young and naive again. I can't say enough how much I like this video.
Nicely done. Wow takes me back to 1989 when I was 17 myself. The yearbook photos look like mine. Your best line, "And maybe you remember how the adults then sung a bittersweet song with the same words that I'm singing now..." Funny how things come full cirlce. Great job!
Matt - I teach yearbook at a large high school and I loved sharing this with my students. Also, I was seventeen in the late 80's and this really took me back! I love it and have been passing it on to everyone I know as my new favorite video. Keep making videos.
Bravo, Mr. Kresling. Did you really do all the polygonal lasso-ing and after effects cam moves and masking? That's a ton of work! Well done, well done. Thanks for sticking with it!
wow! Well done dude! Say, do you have the phone numbers of some of those cute gals? I wanna get in touch with a couple of them. Pm me the phone directory please? Thanks so much.
This is geat. Congratulations Matt.

Great work -- get rid of the curse words in the opening segment. They unnecessarily detract from the overall artistry.
freedumb2003 2 years ago
Thanks, but curse words are an intrinsic part of yearbook inscriptions. I took out more than I left in, believe me.
kresling 2 years ago 11
Everyone's yearbook, no matter how ancient, contains 'curse words'. How can reality be a distraction?

Mine don't.
I only note it because parents who care will keep it away from their younger kids.
And it is a really too nice piece to be kept away.
