@sk8rmidget16 the only thing that helped me was making an effort to keep my foot totally separate from my hands. Go into practice, play the bass only, then slowly add in the hands. It takes practice, but you'll get it.

hey man i got a question. what do you do to be consistent with backend squeezes. bc i have plenty of songs where i have hit all the frontends but missed like one or two backends which is really frustrating. do you just actively try to activate late or hit the last note early or just a combination cause i hate missing them so much lol

@sigster87 it really depends. I think its all about just knowing exactly which note it is you have to squeeze. Like if the note is a GO after a roll or something you're gonna want to activate later than normal because it's really hard to hit only the last note of a roll early ya know. Hope that helped

try to activate your OD as late as possible that way your OD seems to be extended just a little bit, and will help you hit that backend easier

A good stock set is just as good as Ions. The only thing Ions have going for them is adjustability and they don't break down easily, but as far as performance goes, I don't mind the RB2 stock kits at all. I only use my Ions since I have it setup for e-drumming anyway.

My pads were bubbling, so I replaced all of the rubber underneath the pads with drum head silencers. The blue one wasn't so bad, so I left it as is. There are a bunch of tutorials on how to do this on youtube.
