My teacher at school is good, but she doesn't explain as good as you.

She'll just be like, "If you ask a question, put 'ma' at the end of the sentence"

and I was like, "why?"

She didn't explain very well. So when I said, "What's your favourite food?"

I put 'ma' at the end. and she said, "No. You don't put 'ma' at the end."

And I was like, "aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Then what do I do???!!!!"

For a long time I had a problem in learning Chinese: I did not understand the grammar (I know it sounds strange...). Then I bought a huge grammar book in order to look up how structures work. But this explanation helps a lot, You give such a simple and clear synthesis.
