A very old and obvious idea.

Good idea... and have seen other comments on the net, but don't negate Marrettes. Used properly in a junction box or on their own, they are more dynamic/quicker, not to say this is a bad idea, but not super innovative, already many things like this invented; look under the hood of your car. Btw, rapstraps (sp.?), way better idea, and will eventually affect that whole industry better.
