  • does anyone else feels like they can make a zombie movie in this place lol it looks kind of spooky to be nintendo

  • looks like a Giant Gamecube

  • Its understandable that nintendo doesnt want anybody going into their building, theres some people from other gaming companies (cough microsoft, cough playstation) that would try to steal all of Nintendo's ideas so dont be hatin' on Nintendo their just simply running a buisness

  • @puppet382 screw you fuckface

  • i heard at night koopa shields guard the entrance bouncing from side to side :)

  • And sega sucks really…BAD

  • @bitchasshoeism o yeah? sega is just as awesome as nintendo, bitch

  • @SonicCircuit because they're not SEGA >:)

  • I'm going to hack that building's computer network >=D

  • I'm going to infiltrate that bulding.

  • dont mean to sound like a pussy, but if i were there,i would start crying in joy..

  • Where's Miyamoto's car

  • Why does every place in most Countries look like America or reminds you of America so much?! (Shrugging My Shoulders)

  • man, miyamoto must be chuffed to walk in there for work

  • It is like a hospital inside as well... white polished walls and floors, more like a palace really! Shigeru's quite scruffy though, but he is the boss I suppose!

  • LOOK ITS MARIO'S HOSPITAL :D

  • super mario tennis?

  • i want to see the inside so badly..... this place is the equivalant of area 51 for gamers

  • who in the hell that means nintendo¿?

  • they probaly wont let you in cause of the game systems they are devolping i dont know thats my guess

  • it's hard to get a good view, there's a block of flats on one side of the building - i climbed up to the top floor to get a good look.

  • now if they let you inside, you would put their secrets on the internet! They can't let you know about the 3DS or any other upcoming system until they're ready, now can they? Wii (heh, heh) all know how secretive Nintendo is, so I'm not surprised no tours.

  • Why would I need to watch a video of a wall in "high quality"

  • Looks like a old hospital

  • omg, their building looks like a wii

  • Zelda was also born in there.

  • hahahahahaha, hard to believe that so much magic comes from a big dull building

  • The outside of that building is really simple. The inside is where Nintendo's core is at. That's the very soul of gaming. That's also where Link was born?

  • sob sob sob it's so butiful does anyone have enough money to get me there and like 4 other people? i think you just said no

  • The building looks boring on the outside. But on the inside is where legends are getting created.

  • not an attractive building, just a big symetrical box.

  • >:D

  • i want to go to Japan

  • looks like a prison

  • actually the America campus is in Redmond. not seattle.

  • It looks like a prison. No wonder they make bad games.

  • @redcat608 Bad Games? Super Mario - Best Selling Gaming Franchise on the planet. Pokemon - Second Best Selling Gaming Franchise On The Planet. Then we have other legends. Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, And so and so on. They make original games my friend. Enjoyable games. And What does sony have? That used up Kratos guy from God Of war? rofl.

  • @gyrotuffjonykirby2 sadly Nintendo peaked in the snes era now they only make souless shovel ware for the most part :\ not that I think sony is any better

  • Looks like a jail

  • the building itself looks like a game cube LOL

  • How much was it when you went to Japan cause I really want to go to Japan and I really need to how much was it please tell me?

  • its not just a big white building, it has the word Nintendo on it so that makes it awesome

  • I WANT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i been there.. there's koopa shells hitting side to side guarding the entrance

  • place of dreams^-^

  • interesting...very awesome...i wonder what the employee are doing now, what kind of games they are making........they must be hard working....they must be............playing tennis?

What.......oh they must be mokaping a tennis game after all.

Aww, a dream company for all game producers like me to work at. Fortunately i found on internet a page of application for work. Thats as good to get close to it.

    You are my dream.

  • looks like a sad place for all the joy they spread

  • If i was invisible......^^

  • That was interesting. Thanks

  • attention! everyone needs to check out the new super mario track called spit fiya power!!!!!! its insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why didn't u "GAIJIN SMASH!" against guard?

If u do so, I could watch you arrested on TV lol

  • I am such a big Nintendo fanboy that I am marveled by a plain white building that says "Nintendo" on the side.

Imagine how I would react if I was inside.

  • i wonder what great games they are working on................i want to see mario there

  • I think you need some golden coins and firepower to get inside. LOL

  • I wonder what it would be like to go inside...

  • I'm sure most of the 1st Party developers are setup there...but what about the 2nd Party developers? Do they have seperate headquarters?

  • The employees are playing Wii Sports XD

  • thats were mario was born:D

  • indeed :D

  • @pocky94 Actually, not in that building, but in a building nearby!

  • @pocky94 Actually, Mario was born before Miyamoto was affiliated with Nintendo.

  • @onilink422 No, Miyamoto created Mario from the beginning.

  • @JuicyPlayer I know this, I am just trying to say Mario lives forever. It is a joke.

  • LUCKY BASTARD

  • OF COURSE! just like super man and spider man, they hide themselves from the public by being as bland and plain as you could get! while on the inside their "powers" develop, and on the outside, they create just about the greatest games ever!

  • sneaky bastards lol!

  • They sure do like MARIO TENNIS.

  • thebeefmaster Your so funny! Now that would be creative just walk up to the gard office and say. Uh it's Me Mario now that would crack up the Japanese gards.

  • release date. Ingnore comment #3.

  • I meant to surprise the consumer

  • they don't want to give out secrets of the game and of course they don't want to surprise the consumer even if your here in America watching E3 on G4 Nintendo will still try to keep things a secret while other game companies will spill the beans and spoil the info about the game while Nintendo wants to surprise there costumers at the end when the game is finally released but before it's released they will spill some info on there Nintendo Power Magazines when it gets near the end before the

  • Nintendo of America has a similar building style to the one in Kyoto also you can go to a gift shop you heard me right and they also will let you get free Wii remotes or a free Wii if there not working properly and yes they do give tours at the Nintendo Of America here in Redmond Washinton but however I have never seen the tour before and I can't believe Nintendo Of Japan will not give out tours but I'm not surprised at all because Nintendo loves to keep things under wrap because

  • Man,you're pretty lucky to see Nintendo HQ up close, let alone be in Japan itself!

  • ........ i thought the place would be nicer........ oh well. still cool 2 c, even if it give me the idea of 'boring'. the courts.... lol, mario's idea

  • what an ugly building

  • I saw the Nintendo headquarters from my hotel at Kyoto Station. I had to leave that day, though, so I couldn't explore. :(

It's actually in kind of a crappy part of town.

  • I applied for the job of the debugger of Nintendo.

However, it was not an adoption.

  • Nintendo Almist Has Alcatraz Security!

    They Need a suggestion Box!

  • You Could Have Sneaked Passed The Guards And Try To Get in, But That Would Be Too Much Trouble...BTW, is Shigeru Miyamoto inside That Buliding??

  • Yes. He's there most of the day, the guy works a lot now that he's a supervisor. Back when he just designed games he used to play on the Tennis court, that was back when he was developing Ocarina of Time, soon after he was promoted. He walks around the entire building overseeing projects.

  • That's really kool! Lol that'd be funny if a guy in a Mario costume was there and welcomed u in =P

  • That's NoA(Nintendo of America), this is NCL which is the Japanese headquarters. The Inside looks like a private hospital. It's all white, shiny and quiet, everything's very organized and square-like, kind of like the Wii. Ironically it's strikingly Wii-esque the inside appearance, but it has been this way for a long time, way before the Wii came out.

  • in the future, i will like to present to nintendo the idea of making a new franchise...a HARDCORE franchise :)

  • you'd think theyd have at least one picture of mario or someone from nintendo around there......

  • The icon that activates the Staff Credits in WarioWare: Smooth Moves looks like the building.

  • You should have dressed up as Mario and ran inside.

  • um, shouldn't the tennis players be working in their top secret HQ? If you can't go inside, that means they should be working. oh well. what do i know?

  • Wheres Mario?I hope Mario welcomes you at the reception if you enter inside.lol

  • Link's better than mario.

  • Comment removed

  • how is link better than mario.mario rocks!

  • Supa Tennis

  • Not one Warp Pipe? No Hylian translation? And not one odd-looking car or ship in the parking lot? And they call themselves Nintendo! JK, would be awesome to go inside.

  • you go to JAPAN?

  • Wow! that's a HUGE place!

    to my opition..

  • I would love to be a BETA tester for NINTENDO... :D *Whirr*

  • that is one big ass HQ

  • Oh no, thats not Nintendo HQ in Japan, thats heaven +_+

  • My thoughts exactly. *Drools*

  • I wonder if the tennis players have special hits like in the mario tennis games? O.O omomogomgomgomg

  • In Japan everybody has a special shot. Even when they cook ramen there's a special fiery ability. Why. WHY CAN'T WE DO THAT!

  • Because we are not Japanese...DUH!!! ^_^

  • So thats why SSBB was late! They where playing tennis and didn't work on the game!

  • lolololol

  • Sora is a first party for Nintendo

  • Nintendo DID make Super Smash Bros Brawl! Theres even a website that says it is! LISENED BY NINTENDO!

  • I'd probably take my chances and run at high speeds toward the door and hope the gaurds are over weight so they would have no chance in catching me! My goal would be to catch creation of my most favorite title in action! Or go ninja style and wait until night.

  • i agree only i would hav killed the guards :D

  • Wow is it big!

  • The windows are prolly blacked out so they don't get people peeking in at whatever games they're making in there.

  • looks pretty good. I passed in front of a Nintendo Company in North Bend, Washington.

  • they are busy making a new tennis game :P

  • the building is probably modeled after the NES becuase thats what it reminds me of honestly

  • ah man I really want to go there very badly, how is life in japan.

  • Probaly working on Nintendo ..... ;D

  • You couldn't get in either? Good, now I know it's not because of how goofy looking I am. XP Yeah, a security guard kept me from going on the premise when I went.

  • I hope to go there one day.

  • me too =D

  • it would be cool if shigeru miyamoto came out

  • Are the windows closed?

Maybe there are busy with Zelda 2009. Hehe =P

    They don't want to interupted.

  • Awesome! Though I thought it would be more colorful, or bigger.

  • 何か思ったよりそぼくだなぁ。

    ところで、ビデオとっていてもよかったの?怒られなかった?

  • totally

  • I totally agree

  • Looks like a prison or a hospital. Lol. I guess you can never judge a book by its cover.

  • Awesome. ^^

  • Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

  • Wow your a Spy xD

  • It's not that impressive. But it's still awesome.

  • wow, quite private

  • look's like it's been a long time it hasen't changed

  • i expected the outside to be a little more colorful. you know, at least have the red nintendo logo

  • U know i always thought that the building would have like some kind of giant mural of the famous charactors on the side

  • Ah, now we found out where Miyamoto got the idea of Wii Tennis.

  • is this where nintendo's largest development team works? neat. how far away do you live from them?

  • i also forgot to ask.... if you could see the employees playing tennis, are they any good?

  • to me it kinda looks like a prison, and it looks kinda dull and well that is pretty cool

  • i think Japanese are more into exercise and value it during work alot more than Americans.

  • LOL those guys must just play tennis all the time instead of working. LOL

  • AWSOME!!!!

  • I wish I went there, I was thinking of a new game series and want to share with them. I would be famous and design a new Wii channel: you get to upgrade your games such as Waluigi's playable appearence in Wario Land Shake It or more playable characters for Brawl

  • well now we know where Miyamoto got the idea for Wii Tennis

"WHY ARE YOU SLACKING OF?! I KILL YOU!"

"we're sorry sir, we just wanted a game of tennis for our break"

"Tennis.....hmmmmm... That can be a game"

    "sir?"

    *runs off to make it*

  • Ah, the bithplace of Mario.

  • looks plain for the biggest game compont...

  • Quick! Leave you video game ideas in front of the gate!

  • Japan looks nice, I want to go there some day T.T

  • whould u take me with u

  • The more the better right

  • i with u, i will be waiting for Shigeru Miyanoto to go outside the building

  • *gains +1 in Japanese vocabulary*

  • an upcoming mario tennis? hmmmmm

  • cool, i want to visit the home of all amazing games!!!!!

  • Very cool, I'd love to get that close someday, even though it's just a plain building.

And yeah, as someone mentioned earlier, the tennis court in Wii Sports is based on that one at the HQ. You can even see the building in the background.

  • There's probably over a dozen Wiis in that building but they're outside playing real tennis...
