  • The point is very simple. If u cannot knock-out or wrestle a specific guy when he has NO knife, u're likely to be dead trying to do it when he HAS a knife (and this means some 7-inch long rather deadly extension for his hand, nothing less or more).

So, if u're not 100% positive that u're BY FAR a better fighter, overall, never try some of those specific "anti-knife" wrestling technics on a guy with a real knife. I'd better throw some shit into his face and kick him most ungalantly (or run away).

  • love my hapkido. beatiful and practical martial art

  • Just practice over and over again

  • @R4NDALL, yes, there is no 100% guarantee that any technique would work in real world situation. But having trained with a strategy / approach in mind can give you a better chance at defending.

  • @9thDanVideo there could be no 100% guaranty in anything, especially, result of fight

  • This is theory, in a real situation isn´t possible a safety defense against a knife.

  • @R4NDALL i beg to differ my friend. though everyone has a right to their opinions, i have been on the receiving end of a knife. though hapkido is only a style im researching, aikido is my style, and i know for a fact that the martial arts, if done with proper technique, & practiced frequently, it will work

  • Very nice & clear instruction, thank you.
