wow there good, or practiced a lot. We are currently going to play this piece for our concert,and our xylophoest is the best ever. if you listen at 2:31 and listen closely, you can hear it. If you get the chance to listen to just the xylophone part,its absolutely amazing. my high school band is going down to branson on october 14th, we're going to be playing before the show called Cats Pajamas. the clarinet part that starts at measure 40, i think it does, i currently don't have my music with me, but that was hard to learn, but i finally mastered it yesterday:)

Im 1st trumpet in my school band, and this song is TOUGH (: Im in 8th grade. Just got this song today, I dont think I've put down the sheet music for the past 6 hours other than to watch this video. Im diggin the performance, especially how fast it gets at about 2:50 :D

My junior high band is doing this piece right now. I play first trumpet in this . Alone. And have only been playing since grade 7 and am currently in grade 9 . This is soo hard to play . Anyone have tips to help me out a little? I've almost mastered this part tho. But truly, this is a tough gig.

Well, I don't know if you've had to perform already or if you've mastered it yet, but basically just let your fingers do the work for you. I know I've been playing for 6 years, but...really all the notes are just chromatic. So, whatever feels right, will most likely be right in this song.

in our band the first part is played slightly faster and the second part we build up speed it sound slightly more mysterious

waay to slow, the double speed at the end would be played at our normal pace. too boring tbh, and it doesnt matter if you're professionals or not, you shud be able to play it much faster without problems.

We have the exact sheet music for this one and in 1:04 they're supposed to play faster (not as fast as the ending part though) and stay on the same tempo through the song. But they are proffesionals so maybe we're wrong.

I play this piece in my school band, not the county band I played Mazama in. IMO, the flute solo was a wee bit fast, and the next section was wee tad too slow, then the next section a wee bit too fast, but thats my conductors take on it! This is excellent! How many people play 1st tpt in this band, cause in both my bands (county & school), i am 1 of 3?

I play first part trumpet in my band and we have 3 on first, 2 on second, and 2 on third.

We're the symphonic band, but we had to pick an easy piece to spit out for our concert that we have less than 4 weeks to rehearse for, haha. This director takes everything either slower or way faster than my director. I like our style better personally, haha.
