The magnesium is usually found in gearboxes of motor bodies. You can't always tell from the make/model. The bloke walking "casually" at the rear of the vehicle is assisting with size-up; checking around the vehicle for other dangers (or victims). This is a bloody good example of effective PPE, procedures and training. I train firefighters, so I'm biased when it comes to training :)

I hope everyone realizes the car didnt just explode for some unexpected reason, he caused the explosion by putting water to a hot magnesium component in the car, like the steering column or transmission. It's taught in fire classes, he was probably expecting it, but either way it looks pretty badass to not flinch at all haha.
