  • This is just awful and a travesty of the thousand year old CHRISTIAN Byzantine spirituality of the Ukrainian people! As much as Mormons protest, the fact is they are a NON-CHISITIAN SECT that has no place in Ukraine where they are desacrating a millenium of sacred Christian history and tradition and brainwashing the people with their fables.

  • @chortkiv1 We worship Jesus Christ, if that isn't Christianity then I don't know what is.

  • @RainbowManification Obviously then, you don't know what Christianity is. The litmus test of whether a religious group has the privilege of calling itself 'Christian' is relatively simple. It must have a belief in: a) the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) as One God in 3 Distinct Persons, and, b) the 2 Natures (Human & Divine) of Jesus Christ, the Only-begotten Son of God. Mormonism fails on both counts.

  • @RainbowManification Belief in the Trinity and the Divinity of Christ have been the fundamental tenets held by Christians (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant) since the founding of Christ's Church. Without this basic belief, one cannot, by definition, be considered a Christian. Mormonism is sect. Face up to it. And come back to the true worship of Christ.

  • @chortkiv1 I worship Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as my Savior and Redeemer. If you call yourself a christian then you surely believe the same? I could care less what your definition of Christianity is, my definition of Christianity is someone who believes in the Holy Bible, worships Christ and God, and accepts Christ as his/her savior and redeemer.

  • @RainbowManification The definition I proposed is not my definition, but the Church's itself, the fruit of the Holy Spirit and Holy Tradition. My concern is not for myself but for the many unfortunate and uninformed souls who are deceived by sects such as Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses. It is the duty of every Christian to expose these false religions for what they are.

  • @chortkiv1 The Mormons are here to stay, and the kingdom of god will continue to spread to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people among this earth. So stop whining.

  • @RainbowManification Not whining, just doing my Christian duty warning people. Mormonism is just a contemporary version of any number of Christological heresies that threatened the Church in early centuries. Those teachings and their adherents are long gone now as will be Mormonism in due course. But how many innocent souls will this sect and others take down with it?

  • and its a shame that even christians turning down the faith, turning to faggets and dont believe anything anymore

  • and i cant understand how theres no temple at baltic region, because i live at batlic states and we are more advanced than ukrania, but i guess people dont believe in here that its the most righteble faith

  • i hate that that they have been working together with illuminati just where the world becomes

  • Wow, just wow!

  • This made me want to cry! This is so wonderful, thank you for producing this!

  • How un-temple looking for a Mormon Temple. Brighan Young must be doing backflips in his grave.

  • How dare LDS talk of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War with animosity!!! There is no right to call heroes of the nation and the culture of slavic peoples killers and beasts. I hear mormons speaking poor of the soldiers of the war in the streets in Kiev and stories of Saratov. Take your pagan temple and leave Eastern Europe!!!

  • @Redhammer627 I understand your feelings about your people. Please remember that people ARE people, and in times of war they act in ways that they never would in their own homes and communities. All countries' soldiers are, at times, killers and beasts. Americans are no different. What is important is to realize that we can rise above this and come together as human beings.

  • I look at Ukraine and sometimes I think: It gonna be next USA in Eastern Europe: respect to all religions, opinions, etc. Russia is completely deifferent.

  • Ukraine gets temple 20 years after introduction of church

After the United States, where the LDS Church was first organized, Ukraine is the country with the least amount of time between the introduction of the church and its missionaries to the completion of an LDS temple.

  • I hope that some day LDS Temple will be build in Poland

  • @KazPL Keep praying, and eventually my friend, you will have you dream come true. May god go with you this day, and always my brother.

  • Спасибо за видео! Голос пророка, плюс музыка, плюс изображение -- словно побывала в Храме -- окунулась в море любви. Спасибо.

  • Свидетели Иеговы Святиня для Господа,

  • @wildwest610

This is not for the Jehovah's Witnesses, but for the Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormons. Moreover, from the errors in the sentence, it would seem that you are not even Russian and have tried to cloak your comment in the Russian language. Not cool.

  • What a wonderful spirit! This temple seems to breathe new life to the whole world!

  • Святиня для Господа, Дім Господа. I served my mission in the Kyiv Mission and spent several months in the very ward where the temple is. Every day I would watch the progress. Even though I can't go back for the dedication, I thank God that the words Holiness to the Lord, the House of the Lord are now in Ukrainian. The Lord finally will have a place among these people that I love so much.

  • I love this.

  • I hope Howard Biddulph, the first Kiev mission president has an opportunity to attend the dedication. First the Vancouver Temple, where the Biddulphs lived where he taught the Russian language and culture, and now the Kiev Temple! Be sure to read his 1996 book "The Morning Breaks" which describes the rise of the Church in the Ukraine.

  • I love it the people there will be blessed, a temple so close is awesome. I've had the great blessing of going to 4 temples around where i live here in So. Cal before my mission.

  • That is awesome, I served in Ukraine and I know that they are really excited for this temple in Kiev. They definitely are deserving of the great blessings of the temple.

  • Amazing - it gave me chills. Thank you so much for making this video!

  • How inspiring it is to see the inscriptions on the temple in the Cyrillic alphabet!

  • Thank you very much for the video.

  • Thanks so much for a beautiful video. Very touching. It is so wonderful to see these temples being built all around the world, including in my backyard, in Utah.

  • The rock rolls on as the saints hold onto the iron rod. The world begins to awaken to the worthiness of the Lamb and into the praise of God.

  • Thanks much for the inspiring update.

  • We've just had our Vancouver BC temple dedicated a couple of weeks ago. Kyiv has the same looking temple. They will be blessed.

  • "there is a change"

and they are being blessed for that change.

  • Wow! ...it gives me the chills!

  • Great video! I was in Kiev when President Hinckley came in 2002...it was amazing. I am so thankful that the Temple that the saints in Eastern Europe have been waiting for is almost dedicated...it will be a wonderful day.

  • Спасибі, Сет.

    Спасибо, Сет.

    Paldies, Seth,

    Tänan, Seth.

    Tänan, Seth

    Дзякуй, Сэт

I remember when I never would have dreamed of The House of The Lord in this place. The seed of Abraham is strong in the North Lands. This is the first of many Temples there.

  • Oh how that makes me miss President Hinckley.

  • @jsnider81 - I thought about that before, when President Hinkley passed away - But this is what I know - of all God's Children of all the people he could have put on earth at this time - Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ choose President Thomas S. Monson to lead us today at this time, so what does that say about President Monson, who must he be, and what trust the Lord must have in him

  • I love the narrow, fortress-like design. I just wish they didn't take so long to build.

  • @TirianCreed perfection is the key , a place to which our God visits, the gospel is the standard to which it houses , stamped with his aprove HOLYNESS to the LORD ! a temple withstands time . and the carpenter's rule *measure twice cut once* ;-)

  • Seth, you are astounding in your work my friend. Your dedication and careful application of prophetic counsel with matching inspiration of music carefully aligned show your testimony of the truthfulness of this glorious gospel. God bless you my brother, in all your work.

  • spine tingling!!!!
