jreckaa; haha, thanks for your well rounded, unbiased, friendly and constructive opinion.
1995 mustang1; the amp and all speakers were ebay bargains that add up to about $750 aud. the tv was 2k and my latest projector cost me $500 from ebay as well. ps3 was $250 from a friend. sub cost me bout $300 to build.
The tv's on the wall now which makes it look even smaller!! As far as compensating goes, bigger sounds better! it's a fact of audio physics. I'm not saying all big speakers sound good, nor am i saying my speakers are the best. Simply put; if u take a small speaker with the same technology in it as the larger speaker, you'll always like the bigger one. The same can be applied to subwoofers. If size doesn't matter then it is relatively easy to make woofer that can reach very low frequencies at hi
@convicetNL The TV is not too small for the room. The speakers just make the TV look smaller. Bigger isn't always better in my opinion. Somebody is clearly overcompensating here.
@tomsmith100 maybe the photos above it should/nt be there, they make me check how big it it compared to the tv, but if he wants them there he can keep them. i would'nt do that.
hey just a word of advice DO NOT LEAVE ANY PLASMA TV'S ON THE SAME SCREEN LIKE YOUR DOING ITS WILL BURN A COPY OF IT IN TO YOUR SCREEN SO WATEVER YOU ARE WATCHING YOULL SEE THE BACKROUND OF THAT SCREEN AND NO PLASMA MAKER WILL REPLACE IT ITS IN YOUR WARNING NICE SET UP THO
thanks mate, but play 5 mins of anything else and it goes away. Burn in is not as big a deal as i thought it would be. I think these newer plasma's are better than they used to be in that regard. Thanks for the warning tho, i play ALOT of GT5 on it and that never burns in.
@TheWoodardman14@TheWoodardman14 most new plasmas dont have that problem any more... my panasonic 62 in and my sam sung 42 in and my panasonic 52 inch , all have a feature called pixel shift. it moves the pixels on pixel over every two minutes. its not noticeable... but it stops the tv from burning an image . its a great feature :)
Awesome system man but do something with those wires. I ran all of my wiring through the wall and behind the base boards. BTW, I completely agree about the "no substitute for cubic inches" comment, check out my setup and you'll see why, lol.
Yep. i have a center speaker that is the same as the big ones, but it looks ridiculous with the tv on top. It worked with the projector which you can see on my other video.
