  • Go to the tekken forum, this is muay training techniques over here. Garbage comment's, not needed, stick to playstation control pads n let dude do his thing.

  • @187Southsiders hes joking u fucking fool

  • Shouldn't you also be using your hips for power?

  • For al those who said he moved his foot first than the jab - you wrong.

The foot move is much shorter than the jab move, and thats why it will reach the destination sooner. What the instructor ment was that you should execute the jab first, and thats wxactly what's he doing.. cheers :)

  • You will get CLOCKED haha

  • This works trust me! I know from experience but you need to post grappling

  • I used this and your other videos in a fight and whooped some ass haha but I need some grappling as well! Could you show some technique on it

  • word he trains ufc fighte,r and got one of the top tier gyms in the sport and hes an x k1 fighter im preatey confident in is teaching

  • Youtube, please stop telling the world muay thai champ how to throw a punch. Go salute some expert village videos.

  • Y do u have to step

  • @brozac1011 puts alot more power in your punch

  • I've played tekken for several years, I think I know what I'm talking about compared to this person. This is a terrible stance, you've got to bounce up and down like you're on a trampoline because it tires out the opponent's eyes, having to look up and down repeatedly.

  • @3kliksphilip Bwahahaha nice one!

  • @3kliksphilip ya tekken real smart one huh

  • @3kliksphilip LOL I tried that at my class and my instructor laid my ass out.....she then proceeded to tell me this isnt tekken.....Tekken is a lie just like the cake!!!

  • @skinchen ...Mortal Combat?

  • @3kliksphilip nope not even street fighter....and I though sagat was the man xD

  • @3kliksphilip it will also tire you out :p

  • yeah but a result of not turning is that the solicity of your punch is lowered basically penitration is lower. remember punch threw an target

  • id love to get into muay thai. Im a bit confused though do you jab and then step straight after or step and jab at the same time? as a few of you have stated he did infact say follow through with the step but then at the end he steped at the same time as the jab.

  • forget about learnin it with paying this is better and cheaper

  • Much obliged...

  • the jaab

  • why isnt he pushing his weight on his right foot and naturally isnt the leftfoot to lift up?

  • his stomach/belly button should be facing the target/opponent when jabbing or punching,

  • that's some real good footwork... lol i recommend you watch Danny Inosantos video on jun fan gung fu footwork... it's much better than what this guy has

  • my sensei teaches kick boxing and muay thai exactly how this guy does it. (with the jabs.)

  • If you will put 80% of your weight on front feet you gonna get low-kicks non-stop, and you cant defend them quick by liftin your leg, cose most of your waight is on it. Only result from twisting glowe while throwin jab is that it is slower...

  • @mandark86 i was thinking the same thing, isnt it something like 95% of the weight on the back foot so u can step into the opponent when necessary and the opposite if u want to backpedal? and then it would be easier to check your opponents right kick easier (if he/she is a right footed kicker) some conflicting info.

  • exact, its not a good vid with instructions. Other thing 1:17 "hand travels the foot follows" hehehe look at 4:46 foot travels with hand in a same time-which is actually good. Keep on practicing guys! More time on training less on Youtube hehe, Thats all from me.

  • @mandark86 thanks for the advice man

  • @mukhmasy16 No probs! Im glad that i could help You.

  • @mandark86 Could I ask you a question? In a Muay Thai standard (left lead) stance, should the shoulders be shrugged or relaxed?

    Thanks mandark86!

  • @julianfigielguitar When your body is relaxed you can hit faster, react faster for incoming hit the, you shouldn't move like tank because then you are slower. The most important is weight balance, it should be 70% on the back leg so the front one can block or kick quick one to make opening for incoming combination, keep on practicing and always try practice with opponent who is better than you.

  • @mandark86 very true!! as a muay thai fighter i can tell you that putting more weight on your lead leg is a huge mistake. you will eat those leg kicks until you can't walk no more. and in muay thai you don't get your punching power from your legs its from your upper body, by twisting your torso and punching from the shoulders. this guy is teaching regular boxing jab not a muay thai jab..

  • i don't know muay thai (im starting soon), but he says dont step before you punch, but near the end he's doing that... :/

  • @ArcticSheep you idiot he steps and puches all in one time , i practice thiss port for a year and I can say he is a good teacher.

  • @vova635 TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL TROLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • very good

  • who is the guy?
