Mate, if you can get a foam cover, whip that over the mic pickup and lash it with electrical tape! (i removed the waterproof bung on mine and substituted it with expanded polystyrene). The results were somewhat better. Have a look at my vid for comparison of sound.

Loved the filtering! I laughed my tits off as it makes my little 10 minute commute home look pretty sad.
I've just bought one of these cams from the states for £80 but I've not tried it out yet. The quality looks ok for the money though.

yeah thanks, thats fairly chilled as its wet as hell.
That was the first time i suck the cam on the bike on the way home.
Quality is ok but the mic sucks... its has now adjustment for recording level, just on or off.
I posted up another vid, mounting the cam on some foam and covering the mic up with foam to.
Its a lil better but not much, shame a nice lil cam and they messed up the mic on it.
