HR has not had energy live since the late 80s. I saw them in 1991 and he was almost comatose. It is not his age it is his excessive use of pot that slowed him down.

As much as I like Bad Brains I have to agree with people complaining about HR'S voice being too lazy and him not having any energy. I saw the Circle jerks last year and Keith's voice and energy is still the same and also I saw D.r.i. last year around September and so was the same with Kurt. Don't tell me that when you get older you don't have the same energy and vocal ranging as you did before because you do. I think he's too hippied out to give a shit anymore.

The arena is too big. It's better to see these punk bands up close, so close where you can see the white of their eyes, and feel their bodies against the crowds. It's best when you are in actual physical contact with the band and can feel their body heat and energy. Those type of show always give off good vibes. The music is terrific though. Its just too bad people get old. It would have been nice to see H.R. jumping around just like back in the day.
