One interesting thing about the double decker trams in Hong Kong is that you board the tram from the rear door. You pay with cash or your octopus card when you get off the tram by the front door by the driver.
It took me a couple times riding the trams to figure this out. My last clip on my video shows people boarding the team through the back door and going through turn styles. The turn styles are there only to prevent people from exiting through those doors.
