I been looking for something too. An ultra compact HDTV camcorder, that uses memory cards, would be a way to do it. I don't know of any good compact digital cameras that are as good. Canon and Sony have them. These compact camcorders are 1920x1080 resolution.

rootbrian, sorry - but dovetastic doesn't understand the concept of "entertaining video", or "production value".
Even with a bad camera, good editing could fix this problem - as it plagues all dirty microwave videographers.
Bottom line - its not a camera issue (unless its a really shitty camera the operator doesn't know how to use).
