  • What brand he is using..? Sounds supertough!!

  • is this a safe way to get rid of the data on the HDD?

  • Works just as good as the day you bought it!

  • You should try microwaving a 200 gig harddrive thatd be crazy

  • @ANT8U what difference does it make? there all still hard drives

  • @HumzaAhmed155 lol I love when people dont understand obvious sarcasm. Thats proof you dont smile often..

  • @ANT8U lol

  • You here the hard-drive thinking... It's thinking how to get out.

  • that microwave is alive 11 seasons!

  • A hard drive does not speed up your computer. So why would it speed up a microwave?

  • did this remove the virus? :3

  • damm i got a crappy 2gb usb and you got that

  • see if you had taken the hard gold discs out before you did that it would have been so beautiful so if you can find one do it again without the cover

  • pretty colors :D

  • HEY can you microwave a laptop??

  • i rated it 5 stars, that canceled it out =]

  • @partynmyjeans Yin Yang up in here

  • crazzzz are you

  • Wow this is an other kind of virus desinfection

  • DUDE! why the fuck would you do that? ur really retarded.... : /

  • Wow, the video was crap. Boring as hell and retarded.

  • They probably sent it in because it was full of CP.

  • Now that's just dumb...

  • Dude..I wanted that 100GB Hard Drive

  • dude this guys in his fucking dungeon or something microwaving shit hiding from the rest of the world

  • What a waste.

All the same, this does prove that the microwave is the alpha dog of all household appliances and electronics.

  • Bwahaha

  • Hows about microwaving a neuclear warhead? lol.

  • he is an idiot

  • your about as bright as that microwave

  • this is hardbox

  • Oh about the kill systems, yes you are true, today in this future, they do. But in the old days they had magnets, for sure. And if ur a cracker(negative kind of hackers) or hacker, ur always on your guard, cus what ur doin is not legal. So they mostly know when they are searched. Loads of them not, maybe. But hey thats life :')

  • There is no data to restore, same as what searched hackers always have in their home, a strong magnet..why? Cus when the cops may show up to destroy ur data be4 it comes in the wrong hands. If a magnet could do that what would magnetic waves of a microwave do to a Harddisk :/

  • I doubt microwaving would destroy the data, If I put together a machine it would have tubs running to them with a pump and a container of lye, it would desolve the aluminum disks into nothing.

  • I'll respond with: "Did ye ever tried it before?" :')

I'll dare u to sweep a magnet over ur harddisk. Imagine what magnetic waves can do then.

  • allow me clear up what i said " I doubt MICROWAVING would destroy the data " And yes... I know you can remove data with a magnet, needless to say I have many strong magnets. You need a pull of around 20 pounds + to even start to damage a hard drive. Id rather set up a kill system. And a microwave does not have a magnetic wave, its a radio frequency wave in the EM spectrum at .3 - 300 GHZ. If anything the heat would depolarize the disk first.

  • The whole hackers keeping a strong magnet by them... that's not so real, they usually have kill systems instead, say if some one came in your house and told you not to move you think you could get to a magnet and run it over your hard disks for a few minutes? cause that is what you would have to do. It's a lot easier to have a button to destroy the machines.

  • The first thing that would happen is rendering the resistors worthless (increased heat like that would change their shape and resistance) preventing data from being retrieved by conventional means (i.e. plugging it in.). Secondly, the heat would melt and burn the remaining circuits on the hard drive (and this stores your data). So essentially, the microwave just "cooks" it, magnetism has nothing to do with microwaves.

  • Are you quite sure? Microwaves are essentially "Electromagnetic" waves. Microwaves are electric and magnetic field components which oscillate in phase perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the direction of energy propagation.

Please refer to "Maxwell's equations" to learn more about the nature of electric and magnetic fields.

  • good way to destroy porn lol

  • You can still recover the data :E.

It will take long time but, if federal or something like that want's to, they can.

  • dude they cant recover the data after that! The data is magnetically stored with ones and zeros etched in the disk! ONCE there is that strong of a force getting rid if those tinny etchings they are really really gone! TRUST ME~~~

  • If FBI want's to recover your data, they will, they have good technology. Probably not all, but some of it.

  • Im an FBI Agent , in the Cyber Investigations...

Garrett6699 you are truly right. Too much energy was directed to the "disk" and way too much info is lost... we can hardly recover any file from that type of damage...

  • straight bored ass dorks with no real life or genius but to blow shit up in a microwave. wow all yall microwave greaders are ridiculous. really. you either need jesus or social service. lol a shrink rather.

  • yet you have a discription to DBZROCKSBLAHBLAHBLAH... i stopped watching that show when i was 5

  • Neither of those two options sound very appealing to me. I'll just stick to watching microwave theater, thank you very much. Hey, it's more fulfilling than flaming someone's video!

  • Not only that, but the two shows are completely different.

  • you should microwave some liquid nitrogen

  • I guess you could find a very big microwave and find a super small one to fit in the big one lol

  • you should microwavea laptop that would be sweet or a PSP!

  • rip off... you know of what!

  • Could have done better with the lighting

  • u should microwave you camera inside and see if you can watch it in the aftermath...

  • I wanna watch a video called:

    "Microwaving a microwave"

no one else has done such thing... heheehe

  • u should microwave ur ass

  • lolololol

  • I been looking for something too. An ultra compact HDTV camcorder, that uses memory cards, would be a way to do it. I don't know of any good compact digital cameras that are as good. Canon and Sony have them. These compact camcorders are 1920x1080 resolution.

  • you suck! do it in the day time!

  • u should microwave a 500g firework cake, that would be EPIC!!!!!

  • Good idea.

  • Boring..

    1. i cant see something..

    2. you dont sound good xD

  • dude how many microwaves have you killed?!

  • LOL! but, harsh:P

  • Boring! You should have tried a motherboard instead!

  • Bertramloftgold :

"Boring! You should have tried a motherboard instead!"

    Hint hint, Jpizzle1122?

  • BORING!

  • are you gunna eat that or what. and i can hear you breathing :D

  • i can't see what's going on!!

  • Why dont you get a bigger Microwave and nuke that one and call it Microwave the Microwave funny shit you do but not good if kids see this and go fuck i will give this shit ago and Burn there house down lol

  • Isnt that army rations?

  • Dude, I love your videos. I love microwaving things. I love watching things get microwaved.

but your video quality is horrible in almost all your videos. buy a tri-pod pleeeaaaasse.

and don't breath into the microphone. take note from Tay Zonday, lol.

  • 'i love microwaving things, i love i love watching things get microwaved'... dude, you dont sound ok :D

  • looks like the hard drive magnified the radio waves emitted by the microwave and increased the heat level to create fire

  • hey your microwave is on fire

  • crickets

  • That microwave has definitely seen better days!

  • what happend to ur microwave?

  • lol have a guess!!

  • isnt microwaving stuff against ur religion?

  • ftw?! >_>

  • wtf was that a good herd drive

  • haha... herd drive. just sounds funny

  • why at night?

  • Why not? he maby got pissed cus he died some rounds on cod or some thing and threw it in the micro

  • rootbrian, sorry - but dovetastic doesn't understand the concept of "entertaining video", or "production value".

Even with a bad camera, good editing could fix this problem - as it plagues all dirty microwave videographers.

Bottom line - its not a camera issue (unless its a really shitty camera the operator doesn't know how to use).

  • @rootbrian ): I dislike this comment simply because he's been suspended. )':

  • HOLY FUCKING GIGASHIT!!

    I wanted that HDD!!

    Gooooooodddd nnuukkee!!! :D

I gave my Danby a new name, so far, it's survived a ton of nukes, I use a heatsink, one good thing, it's never died on me, I just gotta watch the heat or that relay switch will shut it off :P

  • you sound like darth vader

  • that looks really weird.

  • Next video: Microwaving a PSP (nintendo ds is better)

  • I think that is what our 1st and 2nd microwaves were. The first one didn't last that long but the second one lasted from experiment 14 to 66, and that was because the glass broke not becuase the microwave did.

  • Wow thats one strong microwave mine would proly blow for the first experiment lol cool vids yo!

  • Where do you get all this stuff?

    DId the hard drive work?

  • 100 gigs of pure AWESOME, hide your children!

  • I've never heard of the Kennmore brand before, ate they American?

  • yes its an ammerican company

  • Ooh... Baked on Data. LOL.

  • How many experiments has that microwave gone thorough Kenny?

  • 9Dude You could have give it to me ;

  • how do you cook hot pockets then

  • yes

  • hey do you need help with wide screen

  • Apparently not... It won't be widescreen without a widescreen cam, otherwise the video will be stretched sideways and look like crap.

  • I do.

  • nice vid :)

  • like a CD but with FIRE

  • nice lawl first comment and was youre microwave faster after?
