What I seem to notice in most games is that the Xbox 360 has much better lighting than the PS3, but many objects differ graphically. On the PS3 almost all objects look equal graphically. Who cares they really look the same anyway.

It used to be (when the PS3 first came out) the 360 would have better graphics due to the fact the PS3 is way harder to work on, but now for some games the PS3 looks better (Skate 3, Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2) But there is a little difference. When a developer puts time into the PS3 version then you get masterpieces, look at Uncharted 2! :) I have both, both are awesome, PS3 is faster and can handle more, 360 has better features and marketplace.

Uncharted 2 was last gen, and Gears 3 is new, Uncharted 3 would be a fairer argument. And you seriously haven't noticed graphics are starting to swap places on the systems now (other than Call of Duty, which has shit graphics anyway) although they look close to identical, PS3 does have the ability to handle more.

Well from what I observed from this video,and from owning a ps3 and use to own a 360,well I think the ps3 is better. I say this because the ps3 had more shadowing realistically wise and had more detail on the guns and environment than the 360 did and that plays a major role in the comparison.

2) This is one of those games where you can't really tell which is better

3) I own both consoles and this game on each console. I personally like it better on PS3 because I find it more fun not sure why. On Xbox 360 I'm always screaming at the friggin TV cursing it out.

Paying for XBL is really not that bad, Benefit for Microsoft of having the subs is the network is more or less paying for itself which less money out of Microsoft's pocket. While Sony fronts a good chunk of the money to keep PSN up. They both got positive and negative aspects. As for graphics though I like both systems I got a 360 wish I had the money for a ps3 as I want god of war 3 :)

They are actually different if you pay close enough attention. The lighting on ps3 seems to be a little bit darker, and whenever I played mw2 online at my friends house, the textures at the start of the match seemed to take a little bit longer to render.
