External head cooling has been proven unable to cool more that the skin surface unless blood flow to the brain is stopped (ie: the accident victim is already dead and likely to not survive to be resussitated by EMS or in hospital). Don't waste your money on this.

Clearly not just for race use as you are more likely to be injured fatally on the roads because race tracks are relatively safe, despite higher speeds kerbs lamposts vehicles and trees are the killers.
