@sukisho100 Yeah, Japanese borrows from Chinese, so does Korean. Learning Japanese helped me to identify features of characters, and it's cool to see the things that haven't changed from Chinese to Japanese after so long.

This is really interesting!
Some of these are similar to ASL words. For example, 6 is Y, 7 is sort of like 'no', 8 is kind of like 'lazy', 9 is 'x', and 10/0 is 's'.
That would get confusing for me if I was speaking to a Chinese person who speaks ASL!

verywell done. please note that 10 can be shown by crossing the two index fingers of the two hands.
But I also prefer the fist coz the whole point is to express all numbers from 1-10 with only one hand
