I am always amazed and delighted by Christa Ludwig's magnificent singing. This is a new song to me, and what a wonderful interpretation, both from her and her pianist. Thank you so much for posting.

Yes, I love the lilt in the piano; we can feel the boat rocking to and fro beneath us. And Ludwig creates such beautiful sounds! Her high notes especially are so full and rich.
