I just love how such a charming sounding premise can be made so interesting and deep with such thrilling music and very polished gameplay mechanics. Although KH2 was the last KH game I played, I'm still a fan of the OST.
Fantastic theme. Supra, may I make a recommendation? Give, "Graceful Assassin" a listen. For those that don't know, it's from RE: Chain of Memories, and it's when you fight Marluxia the first time. I think it's on par with this. Also, Unbreakable Chains from BBS, with Ven V.S Venitus in the station of awakening. Lastly, I would recommend the fight in 358/2 Days, when you fight Xion for the last time. Not sure of the name, I believe it's called "Dirge of the 14th."
@Kingofevil565 The official name for the music in the Xion final form boss fight is "Vector to the Heavens". "Dirge of the Fourteenth" is technically the arrangements name. Although I like "Dirge of the Fourteenth" as a name better for this song.
The best Kingdom Hearts game ever. The music for this blended so well with the story and gameplay of the End of The World. It was the perfect fusion of gameplay, story and music. Something that the other KH's havent grasped, nor alot of other games.

The second game is VERY linear in its level design with very few secrets to look for, magic has become a joke (there's no reason to use any spell other than healing), and with a lot of the attack abilities you gain, it soon reaches the point where only the boss fights are tough, even on the higher difficulty. To me, the second game was a colossal disappointment.
@daytimesky Ah really? I love the second game so much more. I like the characters more, they've grown up and they're much less whiny. The worlds are even better and have some of my favourite disney lands (POTC? Lion King? Hell yeah). The game is much longer. You're just lying with 'fewer secrets' because the game is packed with them (100+ hours, 97%...sigh). I adore the battle system, its much more active. I do agree that it's easier, but they make up for it by having a ton of enemies on screen
@daytimesky I never used any magic other than healing in the first game, so that wasn't much of change. The first game was mostly linear too so the second game didn't bother me much. I agree, the first game is more challenging, but that's hardly a big issue. However I do feel KH2 was a much more diverse game, and a lot tighter gameplay wise. And it's one of the few examples where QTEs are used in clever and interesting ways. KH2 butchered Ariel and Hollow Bastion, though...
@0MakoBlaster0 Well, first, you should plat Chain of Memories, BUT if you don't feel like buying it (it's not that good compared to the other games IMO), you can just watch all the VOICED cutscenes from the PS2 version, RE:Chain of Memories, that way you'll understand KH2 much better, trust me.

The only thing that pisses me off about Kingdom Hearts is that it can't have its plot continue without something in between the numbered games. Which reminds me, I still need to get Re:Coded.

Well I'm about to start playing Kingdom Hearts BBS on the PSP. It's been a while since I played Kingdom Hearts II which I really liked, so I'm looking forward to getting back into this series. It's also an excuse to dust off my PSP which has been sitting there for about a year.
Destati is a classic to me, it's a theme I immediately recognize. I'm a fan of the music in this series and the bipolar atmosphere which is sometimes light and other times dark.
@SupraDarky BBS is a great prequel to the series. If you want the secret ending fast don't be afraid to play on Hard mode with every characters story. Proud mode is the real hard mode.
@SupraDarky your about to have loads of fun. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep mixes the fun of Kingdom Hearts II with the gameplay of Final Fantasy Crisis Core. The music is amazing and the special moves are phenomenal. Have Fun
@SupraDarky Personally, I think BBS is great. Although you don't have teammates alongside you, it feels a lot like the first game to me in terms of level design (as long as you're not playing as Terra, who visits linear versions of the worlds!!), and I find it a lot of fun. As long as I'm not playing as Terra.
@SupraDarky You must have loved BBS. I can only assume that anyone who was a fan of Kingdom Hearts for its themes would love it. BBS vol. 2 is gonna be sick. Hopefully that will be the last thing they make before KH3.
