  • I need the speed to, play my 3ds/wii games online.watch youtube, download stuff(slow on my broadband but way better than dial up) play NES games on virtualnes(dot)com, *inhales* use wifi(part of 3ds/wii) download some games(it's a pain in the ass if it's more than 1gb on my att, but WAY better than dial up),

  • bro the fuck spends their fucking money on fucking broadband for that high of a fucking price when its slow and fios is faster and cheeper!

  • NetZero=Cocks

  • why pay a couple of bucks more?? uhhh because maybe people don't want to waste their precious lives by waiting in misery for the smallest of files/websites to open. No shit every internet provider takes you to the same place. This company is a JOKE!!!

  • Looks like they are grasping at straws here...go back to dial up LOLZA. I can think of many other ways to save $300 a YEAR than going back to a service that will barely allow you to surf the web. NeTzero I have news for you...the majority of the net now consists of material that requires a broadband connection to even be viewed.

  • I wonder how long it would take to load this video on dial-up.

  • On average if you are getting normal speeds, about 5 minutes for a 1.4mb file.

Now imagine loading a modern day website that can be as large as 10mb, or watching a HD long youtube video that is ~200mb

  • Wat

  • old people, lolwut?

  • lolwut

  • Who even has a phone line now? That alone is a waste of money. It makes no sense to have a house phone when everyone now has a cell phone, why have both? Because you what dial-up? well lets see here most phone lines cost around $30-$40 (depends on how dumb you are), plus your $10 piece-o-shit dial-up, then you have your cell phone (don't argue) hm well I just see a waste of money, because guess why, you still want TV and no package will cost you. You would have to be retarded to go this route.

  • @bleachedhalo your hilarious lmao!!!

  • Go back to dial-up? He's joking, right? Here's an idea for Mark Goldston, why not offer broadband for $9.95 a month, instead of persuading people to to switch to an out of date technology that hardly works?

  • This commercial is so embarassing. I love my $50-a-month fiber-optic internet. I hated the shitty $10 service of dial-up I had a long time ago. Nice try Mark, I don't think we want to switch from our high quality service to shitty service that takes forever to download stuff and hogs up our phone while I'm online.

  • Fuck you Mark Goldston, dial up sucks like your mother!

  • Imagine those 56 million households on 56kb/s dial-up.This commercial makes no sence, unless you are giving away dial-up access for free. This is fucking hilarious.Nice try Mark Goldstein.LOL.

  • why?

  • NetZero also has a free internet service

  • Two remarks: 1) Oh yeah, going from high-speed to dial-up makes sense - I want to wait forever for each page to load; 2) I would not invest in this company - going backwards technologically usually isn't the best call

  • who wants to go back to the internet equivalent of the stone ages?

  • Imagine watching this video on dial-up.

  • Would take 2 days to freaking load it, I remember having dialup, my small town got Cable net about 2 years ago now back in 07, and i was sure glad it did, you don't save with netzero cause he does not factor in the cost of the phones lines, one for internet and a line for calls in and out, and with verizon that's almost $100 in some places a month. i pay $45 a 6mbs cable like and only $24 a month for Vonage, Screw companies like Netzero and Verizon. Fuck trying to use Dialup anymore it sucks!!

  • @piplupsingularity ur fucking hialrious!

  • But Goldstien I love my $40 a month broad band bill...I don't want to switch to shitty ass Dial Up...Dial up is obsolete.

  • AHAHAAHAHAH!!!!

  • Mark Goldstein's an ass. there, I said it

  • Oh really, Mr. Goldston? Face it, the dial-up era is long gone, DSL destroyed it, Cable has conqured it, T3 has killed it, FiOS put it somewhere where no one could find it, and people will go nuts trying to wait a century for their entertainment if they switched back. DIAL-UP IS OFFICIALLY DEAD ALREADY!!!

  • @JoseAnd911World

Wow, it's been almost 3 years since I used my old username to post this. Anyways, dial-up: still dead. Now back to my epic HD Google pr0n.

  • Bloomberg is reporting today that internet service provider NetZero is extending it's strategy of technology rollback to capitalize on the delay of digital TV. Beginning next week, NetZero will begin direct-to-consumer sales of "rabbit ears" and rotary antennas. United Online CEO Mark Goldston said: "If this works as well as I think it will, our next initiatives will be VCR's and cassette players. With streaming content impossible via dial-up internet, people will be begging for entertainment."

  • Are they seriously trying to convince people to go back to dial-up? LOL

  • The economy is tanked. Theres nothing left. China owns America. The liberals are loony. The conservatives are crazy. Obama is really a Scientologist. McCain is really 87. Lets delete history and start over. Lets all go back to England and give back this mess to the Indians.
