Great version by a legendary guitar player. Gary Moore can do no wrong. One question though, is this the album version or is the 4:14 one the album version? Thanks.
Every time I hear this song I think about how epic it would've been if Phil Lynott had sung on it, as was intended before he died. Not that Gary fails, I love the guy. I just get the feeling Phil would've nailed it.
gary was so hot on this album - i think he did great work all his life but i will never forget this album - i player it to death. had it on vinyl before cd
Really sad :( I have been a fan of Gary`s since a friend let me listen / borrow "corridors or power" God bless Gary and thanks for all the wonderful songs, great memories / times listening to and playing your music.
This version is way better than the other one, damn Gary is shredding the holy crap out of his guitar and they call Clapton a ''Guitar God'' yeah right!
I really need to get some of his stuff. I miss his rock playing. Back in the day I remember watching the Victims of the Future video on Headbanger's Ball. Just excellent.
What that say except AWESOME :)

5:08 "I remember an old friend of mine".Without any doubt he's referring to Phil Lynott.
rockvib021 2 years ago 27
@rockvib021 lol no, he's talkin about an old friend who was killed because of the war in the North of Ireland...The Wild Frontier is Northern Ireland

This song is simply the best...agree with xmonkeydustx...most guitarists would be put to shame by the level of guitaring in this piece.
