This was misty so beautiful! But you needed harder d's at the end of lord, and when the 'conversation' was going on, you geared towards saying 'do you love 'im?', and there was no noticeable 'h'. Also, in when the girls do 'hallelujah!' in the conversational part of the song, it came out haaalaylujah, and not hahleighlujah. Diction is very important, but you all did a beautiful job. (:
nice performance only thing i can say it they took the tempo a little faster than written...still sounds good though i prefer it the way Dr. Hogan wrote it
@VanSensei The young exalt rigid ideas of perfection involving bits and pieces, while others appreciate the choral contrast to the silence in space and wonder at what's appeared from nothing: the asymmetry of tragic novels, cracks in a cathedral wall, torn oxidized ancient paintings or choirs of human voices whose flaws are the transcendent poetry of a woman without wrinkle, stain or blemish, for those with God in their eyes to see her perfectly imperfect beauty.
To all the weirdo aesthetes who can stare this ANGELIC otherworldly PERFORMANCE in the face and complain or find faults - Jesus has news for you: THIS PERFORMANCE WAS PERFECT IN GOD'S EYES.
@VanSensei I believe what you are referring to is the artistic interpretation of this piece. Obviously, this piece is not your standard church hymn, it is a gospel piece. To stay true to the song Dr. Clausen encouraged scooping and trust me, he would have said something if was not up to his standards. Also, I was in the Choral Festival that he conducted this past spring, and he told us that singing this song straight was no fun.
Oops. *mostly

Definitely sounds much more wonderful live than in a YouTube video. Still fun to See Dr. Clausen conducting thought.

@Censored4TRUTH While this piece was beautifully done, there's faults in anything one does.
