If you're thinking of immigrating to the U.S. now, you're about 35 years too late. Things have been getting worse since then---competition for jobs, housing, education....you would probably be better off where you were before. I got out of there 22 years ago and have never regretted my decision.

I immigrated to Canada and plan on staying around. The U.S. is moving slowly toward fascism where corporations and big banks really are the government. Some say it's already there.
