secound go check your speed at speed test . net to see your actually connecting and ive played it on a 7 meg and it was equal if not better then my console and i noticed no lag also your upload speed is wat matters for lag anyway so check that too!

on-live, i can see why its so appealing, no more needing that subscription to lovefilm and waiting for the post etc just login and start playing 150+ games, Yeah, thats great, but theres acouple things you need to realise, thats only a subscription, you still need a fast internet broadband, unlimited connection, PEAK hours, too many people and the service could get capped ergo, in a queue and also, if there is any connection problems at all at home your fked,

If they don't have a console then these games are all new to them, plus the playback at 6.99 a month means 150+ games for the kids to enjoy. :D

@TRYER25 what do you mean by memory mate? memory in terms of pc/mac RAM/HDD space? No, nothing. It all runs on servers. The only thing you need is internet speed of around 3Mbps. Altho, i had 10Mbps and it was all good until 5pm when my ISP throttled my speeds. If you have a download cap, i'd recommend being very careful.

@GraffixDesigns hopefully i've written that right...? yes 5mb/s for 720p on tv. less for a pc/mac as the screen isn't as big so it requires less bandwidth. it'll still work with less than 5mb/s but quality won't look quite as good. it tends to look a little less crisp... on my 10mb/s it was pretty good quality, not PS3/360 but very close, basically.
