A very interesting interpretation of this classic, spoiled only by the dodgy acoustics and some ill-mannered chatting from the packed audience. Big Neil squeezes every ounce of pathos out of the slower passages of the song and then explodes his booming voice into every corner of this historical pop venue as the song reaches its powerful climax. A performance which could define Big Neil's career as much as the stunning re-working of My Way by the late Sid Vicious. Staggering stuff.
