okay i am very curious about hypnosis as i have stated before...i wanted to know, that even if you knew someone personally, was it still possible to hypnotize them effectively? would the relationship that you have hinder the hypnosis?
@ashleabrittney Yes, you can hypnotize someone you know. However, it isn't recommended to hypnotize close relatives (mother, father, brother, or sister), very close friends or romantic interests. When people are very close, there are strong relationship patterns and rapport already deeply established. (Continued below)

Sloppy or unethical hypnosis in any case (especially close relationships) can damage the relationship by destroying rapport / trust and by skewing it into a one person seeming to (or actually having) a disproportionate amount of influence/power (Continued...)
