this is prob my fave franchise ever! X will forever be in my blood. i remember the day i finally beat X with every character on every cup in every difficulty! i t was truly an epic day, and all sadly i didnt even get anything special, just the satifaction of mastering FzeroX. GX on the other hand is a hard mofo, got two cups on master left to beat, dont think ill ever beat that game :( i just wanna see the AX cups! and story mode.. forget it...hard!

If they ever make one for Wii- and they better- they better not use motion controls since F Zero is too fast and it would be clunky and maybe even unresponsive and you really don't wanna fly off the track at 1000 KPH. Gamecube controller support is a must.

@ShiryuGL I know I'm late to the discussion, but another possible reason for excluding the GBA games is that all of them take place in separate continuities from F-Zero, X, and GX. Maximum Velocity ignores X's backstory entirely, while GP Legend and Climax are based on the totally different anime.

All these rumors about an F-Zero Z game are false. Its an april fools joke from some time ago. If you look carefully, you can tell the F-Zero Z logo is just a photoshopped GX logo.  Trust me, I was po'ed when I found out too.

F-Zero needs to come to either the Wii or DS. It needs a 7th gen iteration.

Go see Piccolocube's videos. A few of them have him hit the 3000 mark. As in exactly 3000, because that's the max speed in the NTSC version of FZX.

The PAL version's max is 2500, because it has a lower framerate, and... I guess they just forced it on that version...

Same here, but there are taking their good sweet time on this. The way they are taking things is good though in one way, I want online experience to be perfect, like Mario Kart and The Conduit but better. Until Online is fixed for sure, its best not to make a F-Zero game and have one of the more lasting experiences ruined but poor programming and server management.

Nintendo could make it so that a screen comes up before the race where you have to choose your character before someone else does, or else that car will fade and no one else will be able to choose it. That will make it so that you will have 30 different cars.

It's the same with the mario kart series. the first at SNES has quite bad graphics but the feeling of playing it is great. then the 64 came and IMO it's the best of them, in everything except the graphics. Double dash on the other hand has quite good graphics but it doesn't have the same feeling anymore, that is it's not as funny to play :/
