the entire perc is FUNCTIONAL, you need to understand drag and water pressure to get how it really works, of course only bubs pop from the top ring, the others allow water to flow from the bottom and sides, getting a smoother pull. I don't have expeirence with one YET, but will thursday - but this is how I understand its supposed to function.
@DontMurderTime nah but really it hits so nice it doesn't matter, even though the bottom doesn't fire it's essentially there to make the perc dragless.....
