Man O man there were a lot of dickheads show up for this one eh bro! Wow! Frickin' brainwashed cult members I guess...haha! All the bullshit about patents and all...Hahaha! Nothing tinhead ever did had a patent and most of what he did was stole from others anyway...haha! What a bunch of morons...haha! Good job brother. Nice lookin' stove! More power to ya! I'm on your side bro! Keep on truckin'. Love what you're doin' :o)
You know I've neglected chiming in for a while. But to be brutally honest, a lot of your videos seem to take influence from Tinny's designs. The simmer rings, pot stabilizer rings, the stove in this video. Innovation is one thing. But changing some dimensions is not innovation. If you were to design an awesome, lightweight stove, completely your own idea, I'd buy that sucker in a heartbeat. But I just don't see that here. Only my 2 cents. And don't bring his kinds into this dmerc, not cool.
@edcjunkie Everybody has the right to their opinion, that's what makes this country so great. When things kind of calm down at work I have 2 stove designs that nobody else has got out there, so keep checking.
@ReeperzOutdoors Thanks brother I really appreciate the nice words about the twins, don't like it when people have anything negative to say about kids........
After being blocked by Tinny for no reason what so ever???? I found this guy.. Tinny blocked my e-mails and I was scorned by many of his followers when I signed in on my other channel and was asking, why? I guess the further north you live the less wrong you are weather in your mind or where you live... Good on ya man... Mod that sucker and make it the best.
I think we all know what Smokeeater908 has done... rip off Tinny's MiniBullDesign M-5. As a Texas Peace Officer as someone who has taken a moral oath, I am completely offended and disgusted that this man advertises he is a fireman. No moral code or ethics. This man is a disgrace to his profession, his family, and himself. He should be ashamed of himself. Copy something = fine. Sell something = fine. Copy something, then sell it = thievery. A big blackeye for every fireman out there.
@Bliggida I think its a shame as a Texas Peace Officer you don't know the laws, nothing says I can't take that stove and modify it the way I want to, again just like he took Paul Juery's penny stove and made the atomic stove, and just like Taurus has a pistol that looks just like a Beretta 94F. Hum go figure...............
@smokeeater908 I do know the law. But just because you're within the confines of the law doesn't make it moral or ethical. Had you included one little sentence, it would have made all the difference. "I copied Tinny's M-5 from MiniBullDesign, and made some changes...here's why you should buy from me". You're analogy of the Beretta and Taurus is invalid, since the COPYRIGHT had expired. Tinny's hasn't! YOU making it, doesn't make it YOUR design. Credit!
@Bliggida Well there again did he say he copied Mark Juery's stove when he made the atomic? Also this is not COPYRIGHTED either nor does a COPYRIGHT pertain to a stove that would fall under a PATENT! A copyright expires in 120 years and a patent expires in 20 years. I'm smarter than you think! Also the one I made IS MY DESIGN, because it is not exactly like his, so get over it...........................
@smokeeater908 Actually, yes He did. When he first made his version, he called it his version of a "penny stove", and he said then, its not my idea...you can find it online. When He made his "Zen stove", he again said, you can find it online, its not my idea. The only thing he ever created that he called explicitly his own are the stoves that no one else had created. And forgive me when I confuse copyright with patent. Basic principle is giving credit to someone else that created it.
@smokeeater908 (forgive me for posting twice) Simple fact behind patents are that, while modification allows you to copy someone else's design, (I believe over 10.1%) doesn't mean you CREATED it, just that you copied it and called it your own. Anyone who prides their own workmanship says, "We took XYZ brand widgets and made it our own". Do you see Les Baer saying he made the 1911, AR-10, or sub-MOA Lesington (Remington) 700? No! You never gave credit, and that would at least say something.
@smokeeater908 A Large contract for the Beretta 92/96 was with the Brazilian army, for which Beretta set up a factory in Brazil. This factory was later sold to the Brazilian gunmaker TaurusTaurus makes these pistols (called the PT92) without the need for a license from Beretta since their design is based on the original Beretta 92, whose patents have since expired.
Well I can understand the controversy, I think the biggest problem is the similarity to the M5 don't own one . I know you made the top different but you can paint it blue and it's still the same design. I am not knocking you my friend. It's great that your able to make the stove . But for profit will rub people wrong. I have made DIY wood gas stoves similar to a bush buddy but no where close. Heck brandin had issues with his first hammock was to close to a hennesy and he had to drop it . (cont)
@Triggin1 Like the Atomic Stove being a rip off of Mark Juery's Penny Stove, same principle or the Elite being the same as a Hybrid Side Burner from Zen Stoves Page. Come on!
I see no problem with it.. You saw an idea and went with it. I see it being no different than all the soda can stoves out there. People make and modify those all the time, so heck, why not this idea of a stove.
Competition is a good thing! But stealing designs and duplicating a product is not. Improving a minibulldesign product is even ok in my book, but change the look, make it lighter, do something different that won't make you look like you stole the idea. ITS NOT YOUR CREATION! ITS STOLEN!
@Theweeklysauce I guess we are all thieves if we have made a penny stove or anything along those lines??? I have a few MBD stoves and like them. So what did I do? Make a few of my own and try and improve on them... The way I see it, The "I'm Right, your Wrong" thing is sad :-( Kinda grade schoolish ya think?
People who have made penny stoves for themselves are doing just that, making it for themselves. Not selling them and not making money from other peoples inventions.
My point is just give credit where credit is due and build "original ideas"
@Theweeklysauce Funny thin is... Thats what he did.. He said he redesigned the top and used a pot stand... And in no way shape or form did he try to belittle Tinny like Tinny has. And now it shows with the rest of the comments here... Thanks and have a great day... Bye Bye.... OOOOps I stole that... Sorry.
minibulldesign is where its at, he's the original builder of the M5 stove, better quality and now has dropped his price on his too, Your stove is a rip off of his M5 stove. come on man at least give tinny credit for his work that your trying to make money off of.
@TheDavkitts Nope its not it has a smaller top ring and smaller felt to burn better in a Foster Pot, but thats ok he says stuff I make won't work yet he emails me and asks if I can make rings for him, about 25 a month. Do you want a copy of the email?
@smokeeater908 Yeah so I'm sure you will hear a lot about this, but did you copy this from Tinny's stove? So if not I guess whip out that lathe and let's see some tinkering. And I guess since Tinny is selling this stove for ten dollars less now, I'm sure someone will test them together and see which works better. Seven minutes and no hard boil? How does that seem to work better than an M5? I mean if you did copy this from an M5.
Thanks for the shoutout. I’m anxious to try setting the ring but… I’m waiting till I get off the oxycontin pain pills before I start playing with sharp objects :-))

Just keep making stoves just try to find one of your own design that will do just as well and not cause you unneeded grief.
