Dude, I am not quite as good as you, but not that far off - but you I'm pretty sure your using a gun with a little auto shot switch thingy on it. The timing between the shots is exactly the same. The only way I acheive shoting that quickly is to but the gun against my chin and rattle finger on the trigger (yes, I look like a twat whilst doing this) but this hard to aim, and the shots arn't perfectly timed between each other. Post a video of you actually shotting that fast, and I'll eat my hat.

I know this is possible because I have done it (although most of the time losing two lives in the process)

But at 2:20, I can't see anybody firing that fast and accurate at the same time and I wont believe that one could've been done at that speed without some form of turbo controller.

However if you do want to send me some form of proof that you did it that way I will apologise.

No rapid fire. Just me on the Guncon for Playstation 1. I figured 212k would be the best possible if the right stages come up for the game. So 208k is a great score.

A trick I did at the arcade was bring some paper and jam the guns so they wouldnt kick-back. They were the 'sophisticated' ones and the kickback would totally screw you round. Let me know if you find anyone that claims they have beaten 208'000. At least I can claim I have a record at SOMETHING. :) ... It was beginner mode though... It was easier to score points on accuracy. You get a 2000 point bonus if you never miss.

Hey. When I was about 10-17 I practically dedicated my life to this game. I still believe I was the best at it. Has anyone ever beaten a score of 208'000... starting with only 3 hearts? I did this at the local arcade in a competition and was put in the local newspaper for it... I'm very interested to know. Sharp shooting. I'm sharper ;) Was it rapid fire or just an awesomely fast finger? What system was it on?

That is something I'd like to see. I did get the unlucky empty chest so 20k more could have been had easily. And a few hard earned 1000's maybe, so 210k sounds like its possible. If you can get higher than that, then I'd love to see that.
