The world is full of ignorant and Racist people. But in the end China gets the last laugh. So to all those racist and ignorant SOB, China own your ass nuff say.
@kx06 it appears that way to some. but, no. according to bible prophecy, china and russia get wiped out at the brightness of the coming of the Lord Jesus at the very last moment of the battle of armmagedeon. and its coming soon to a planet earth near you. so its Jesus that will really have the very last laugh. believe it or not.
@bigblondman1 LMFAO wow you really are stupid. coming of Jesus, LOL the only people getting wipe out is stupid people like you. the bible is full of shit used to brainwash idiots like you. Go worshipped a dead man idiot, hopefully he'll take your to you fucken paradise.
@kx06 remember he who laughs last laughs best. dont mock what you dont understand or believe. thats your priviledge but that doesnt make you right. im sure Jesus is much smarter than you. the trouble with communists is that they are all about the glory of themselves and there so-called socialist paradize. mao murdered millions in that paradize. hell answer for that too. the irony of it all is that most will live to regret it. never say never. repent dont be a communist fool.
i dont understand people who diss china on this comments page. If you dont like china, then why did you click on a "Chinese Patriotic Song" video?? Or are you guys just trolling like complete bunch of tossers? 中国万岁万岁,万万岁!
@panzerelite195 no. people like me are merely curious and are trying to understand more. thats how we all learn., by asking and observing. its not about hating china its about hating the communist gov. in china. thats how i feel. im sure many others do as well. long live the r.o.c.!!
@bigblondman1 :the lyrics are rather politically neutral, nothing to do with CCP or communism...it's like the Chinese version of Rule Britania in certain sense
@LXHFIRENKING ok thanks for the explanation. i still believe the p.r.c. is really slowly dying. there are many protests all over china and many defectors who left as well as millions who left the ccp.
@bigblondman1 haha...I'd rather see these as positive signs....protests are signs of citizen participation in politics. ..millions who left the party are also quite reasonable, cuz there are millions new members joining each year...if you say that ccp's absolute power is crumbling, that's probably true, but China as a nation dying? probably not.
@LXHFIRENKING r.o.c. is the true china. defectors have said that what politicians say in the assembly in public is one thing and what they say in private is another. its not china im against its the ccp. they are thugs and bullies who oppress and intimidate. they hide behind a captialist economy. they are really more paranoid then anything else. its the commie system thats crumbling. more have quit then joined in recent years. many more will continue. i think the new members will quit soon.
@bigblondman1 r.o.c is just another political joke...one of the most failed democracies in Asia..seriously I really think that the main reason why ccp can still cling to power is that democracy is really not the cup of tea for chinese...and the populace has already accumulated too much to lose in a political turnover...the best thing that I could hope is that ccp turns into a parliamentary majority with a semi-real-semi-pseudo-election system(like that of Singapore) to check its power.
@LXHFIRENKING its always about economics, greed and profits. nothing will ever truly change until the ccp dissolves itself like the ussr. the r.o.c. is not a joke. if they were the p.r.c. wouldnt want to have it so much. the r.o.c. is a very successful democratic gov. and a lucrative economy. the p.r.c. wants to control that. they dont want that kind of competition against them. those protests on the mainland are not a joke either. the ccp just downplays it. im sure they are very concerned.
@bigblondman1 r.o.c is termed to have the MOST incompetent gov by the U.S. Foreign Affairs magazine. It is the only parliament in the world that used brawls, rather than debates to pass legislation; the only democracy in the Asia that the president can refuse to resign despite a huge corruption conviction; the only election system in which candidates buy votes from voters by setting up banquet on the street (and ironically it worked!!).
@LXHFIRENKING im sure youre exaggerating or reading it wrong. thats why they have elections. by the same token communism is two faced and cannot be trusted. would you rather have the ccp forever or a democratic gov. that the majority of people chose. you dont seem to get the concept of free political expression. by comparison communism doesnt allow any free expression without a price of oppression. no system is perfect the difference is one is imposed upon people the other is chosen by people.
@bigblondman1 I can't find the online version of the text(here is a reference to the original issue, and I just check that it is referring to its legislature (not gov), but that's enough to prove my point. Back to the original point, I have not doubt about the pros of democracy as a system, but just that whether it will work out in the way it should be in p.r.c...or in any Chinese society
@LXHFIRENKING well thats political hairsplitting. you can find something wrong in every system if you look deep enough. i contend that nothing will ever really improve in chna until free elections are held that include the parties on taiwan. but the ccp must go first. because they will never tolerate the r.o.c. to take over the mainland even in a free election. thats why they wont even allow free elections. the ccp are arrogant, oppressive bullies. they just want to hold onto control forever
@bigblondman1 The political concerns are real, but not the kind of economic competition you are talking about. That's why the merger between the two chinas never take place....
@bigblondman1 Here's a reference to the original issue: ( focustaiwan.tw/ShowNews/WebNews_Detail.aspx?ID=201108140010&Type=aOPN )...btw, dun call me racist, since I'm ethnically Chinese myself
@LXHFIRENKING i never called you racist.or even suggested that dont put words in my mouth. im just pointing out more details to you that you may not be aware. thats how we learn, me as well.
@bigblondman1 and you clearly dun have basic knowledge of chinese internal politics. Even if p.r.c controls taiwan, it would be a S.A.R. (just like H.K and Macau), which means it will not contribute a single cent of tax to the central government, nor providing any employment opportunity to mainlanders. btw, when the communists take over HK and Macau, both are in recession. p.r.c wants a region not because of economy.
@bigblondman1 Taiwan's economic development (which has been in a mess for the first 8 years in the 21st century) is heavily, if not totally (and sarcastically ) depends on the mainland market. r.p.c wants taiwan because of its strategic location that allows it break the island chain set by but Americans, not because of its joke-like gov or economy. Btw, the S.A.R. system means that taiwan will not pay a single cent of tax to the central government even if p.r.c. has it.
@LXHFIRENKING the taiwan economic situation was vibrant and lucrative before any mainland cooperation. they were trading with many other countries long before mainland china. the p.r.c wants taiwan out of economic greed. the r.o.c. taiwan is 4th in the world in foreign cash reserves, gold reserves and extremely profitable. the p.r.c doesnt want that competition. they want to control it as there own. they cannot stand anyone suceeding more than themselves. its more economic than strategic.
@bigblondman1 The 2nd largest economy in the world will not even be concerned about economic 'competition' from taiwan. p.r.c's economic competitors in the region are japan and US. If they really can not tolerate anyone doing better than them, they would have long gone for war with japan.
@LXHFIRENKING the difference is that the u.s. japan and the r.o.c taiwan are democratic and aliies. the ccp on the mainland are not allies with the r.o.c. they are fighting the civil war still, now by cross straight relations and economics as well as military threats. its not a fair comparison between the u.s. japan, taiwan and the p.r.c. the u.s. and japan have no desire to take over taiwan but the ccp does for both strategic and economic reasons.
Taiwan is part of the PRC. That fact is recognised by the UN and almost all the individual members. Even the Guomindang accept the 'One China' principle and support eventual 'reunification' with the mainland.
They may not tell you that on Fox News, but it happens to be true.
not true. youre not understanding the political concept of strategic ambiguity. that means the u.s. and most countries acknowledge, not agree, that the prc.believes they are the one china. the consensus of 1992 where both the prc. and the roc. agreed to interpret the one china policy there own way. the roc. believes they are the one china. its all political word games. the same countries that recgonize the prc officially also unofficially recognize the roc. roc is respected around the world
i meant, taiwan is not part of the prc. that fox news did go into detail and explain what ive just explained to you. that, the concept of strategic ambiguity refers to the acknowledgement not agreement that the prc thinks they are the one china and they think taiwan belongs to them. the roc thinks they are the one china as well. taiwan belongs to the roc because it was reteurned to them after ww2 and they still possess it. the prc never did they just think they are entitled to it. there not.
im not disputing that was said. youre missing the larger point. its all politics. and economics. the same countries that officially recognize the prc. unofficially recognize the roc.. and maintain economic and poltical relations as well. you cant ignore those facts either. dont try to imply that im disingenuos the u.s acknowledges that the prc believes they are the one china but doesnt agree. the u.s.maintains realtions as an ally of the roc. the roc is not so-called. it is the true china
i am not wrong or entertaining. i state the facts correctly. you just dont like them. that doesnt make them wrong. the prc and roc mutually agreed to interpret the one china policy there own way. thats a fact. taiwan was returned to the roc and they still possess it today. thats a fact. the republic of sun yat sen is the true china. thats a fact because the people elected it in subsequent elections. the prc never possessed taiwan. thats a fact. they arrogantly believe they are entitled to it.
heres more facts. the treaty of san fran 1951 japan surrendered there claims of taiwan to the u.s. no one else. fact. seven hours before the treaty went into effect april 52 the roc and japan signed a treaty were japan surrendered there claims of taiwan to the roc. fact. the u.s. has legal status over taiwan by usmg. fact. the prc knows this. taiwan by treaty is a us territory fact.. they hesitate to attack taiwan unless of independence. fact. if prc attacks taiwan they attack the u.s. fact.
@redword2007 just because you commies dont like the sound of what im saying doesnt mean its wrong. its all true according to the treaty of san fran 1951 witnessed by 48 nations. international law recognizes the concept of ubi possedetis meaning as you possess. the roc has possessed taiwan since 1945. the prc never has. the problem is that the u.s. and many other countries acquiesce to the prc for economic reasons. they dont want to loose out on the big profits there are making there. all true.
thats irrelevant to me commenting with indisputable facts. did you ever hear," if you have nothing intelligent to say dont say anything"?? if that comment is all you have in response to the facts then ive proven your ignorance. i noticed you have not disproven anything ive said. just because you disagree doesnt make you right. ive told the truth that you and other commies dont like to hear. but its still the truth whats left now is determining whats worse your arrogance or ignorance.
just to add. the kmt did not accept the one china policy that the prc says. the consensus of 1992 states both the prc and roc are free to interpret the one china policy there own way. also, president ma ying jeou enforced his three no's policy of no force, no independence, and no reunification. that currently is accepted by over 80% of the people of taiwan. so there is no mutual harmonious agreement of the one china policy or reunification. its the ccp controlled media that doesnt tell all.
@hjtjl no its not. its called a free press. china doesnt have that. the ccp only allows what they want to be exposed. if you want talk about exagerating look at the rt news network. they are just anti american propogandists. most chinese people never heard the truth their whole lives if all theyve heard is the ccp controlled media. thats why the real whole truth is such a shock to you.
you can also say that communism is not the peoples' cup of tea either. not most people. you have to realize out of 1 billion 317 million people only 76 million people are communist members that control the gov. military, big business and the courts. there are civilians who are members but most or all have left. even with new members the percentage is still a small minority compared to the entire population. communism was forced on people. from the beginning. many were fooled by it.
@LXHFIRENKING the r.o.c gov. is highly respected by most nations in the world. 23 officially but also 122 unofficially. im not saying they havent had there share of corruption and scandal. all governments do. even communism. the difference is that communist covers it up. dont you think they are even worse? they dont reveal half of what they do. regarding any scandals or corruption, thats why there are free elections and a free press to safegaurd the system. thats part of the democratic process
@bigblondman1 Hey, lad. I'm not anti-democratic or what so ever...r.o.c is democratic, which allows it to possess some of the inherent good of democracy...but it does not run the system very well, and that's pretty much obvious. I'm not comparing r.o.c with any totalitarian gov, but a horizontal comparison with other democracies. I'm wondering how do you come up with the no. of countries that 'highly respect' r.o.c...giving visa waive has nothing to do with respect for gov btw.
@LXHFIRENKING dont call me lad. im much older than you. the r.o.c. runs the system well enough to be a very successful economy. so much that the p.r.c wants to control it. they wouldnt be interested in it if it was a failed economy. and the 122 countries is not just about visa waivers, they all have diplomatic missions and maintain unofficial cultural and political relations with the r.o.c. plus the 23 nations that officially recognize the r.o.c. thats a fact, from the u.s. state department.
@bigblondman1 fine, with all the experience you have with your senior status, your logics are still all flawed. First of all, the r.o.c economy is not performing well by Asian standard (not to say comparing to prc). The real GDP growth rate in the from 1991 to 2009 are 5.5 6.3 -2.2 3.5 3.2 6 4 4.6 5.7 0.1 -1.9 . Again, the mainland communists are not taking taiwan because of its economy, its because of its strategic location and partially cuz of national pride
@LXHFIRENKING i never said i was perfect or that youre imperfect. i just know what i know. the r.o.c. economy, is still functioning well in the long term there will always be ups and downs. that happens everywhere. that doesnt mean the system should be condemned or trashed forever. that just the life of economics. yes, the strategic aspect is important, even more back in the 50s and 60s. i just think the economic factor is primary now. ultimately, the ccp wants it all, strategic and economic
@LXHFIRENKING and you clearly dun have basic knowledge of chinese internal politics.
@LXHFIRENKING well, the ccp sure doesnt think those protests are positive. true, that is a political right to protest in a democratic society. but in a communist gov. that is not tolerated. the ccp calls all these protesters terrorists. that certainly isnt positive or tolerant coming from the ccp. the real positive sign would be for the ccp to dissolve itself. you cannot have any true democratic reform under a communist gov. free elections are needed let the people decide what they want.
@bigblondman1 Lastly, if you have lived in China in the last ten years or have kept up with internal politics of p.r.c. you could see that p.r.c. is a totalitarian, but by no means a f***ing communist country. No one is forcing anything communist, be it cultural, economic, on ordinary citizens. r.p.c is not DPRK or USSR. There have been quite a few major protests that changed governmental decisions in this year alone.
@LXHFIRENKING no, i havent lived there. but i know people who have and do. i communicate with them so thats how i keep informed. it isnt the communist party of mao anymore, to be sure, but its still communist. perhaps the changes however few, is a small beginning toward a democratic direction. but my point is that democratic reform will never be fully realized until the ccp goes away somehow. i like to think it is, a little at a time, all be it slowly.
@bigblondman1 There is no hope, at least in the near future to see the dissolution of the freaking ccp, cuz the majority of the Chinese population simply lack the gut. Despite all their complains, they just want be part of the party machine from which they could extract personal interests, rather than sacrificing their own gains for political reforms. I still believe that the dawn is near in p.r.c, but the removal of ccp is still a distant dream
the people have plenty of guts but no incentive. it appears to be a distant dream. thats because as long as the economy is stable enough most people are placated with no incentive to rebel. the ccp economy is a bubble that is about to burst. i mean soon. when it does all bets are off and youll see protests in china even more than now. that will make teieineman square look like a church picnic. if you are chinese, you should know better than to underestimate your own people. theirs always hope.
@bigblondman1 :the lyrics are rather politically neutral, nothing to do with CCP or communism...it's like the Chinese version of Rule Britania in certain sense
We in the West should welcome China's increasing contribution to civilization. We are all part of one human race, and if China's success can advance humanity's progress as a whole, then I am all for it, even though I do not live in China.
can anybody tell me about Chinese patriotic song in roman Urdu/English plz...? i want to sing the song to dedicate Chinese friends as gift on their national day.
Irony about censorship is the people who are censored don't realize they're censored. After all, how much news is censored through omission on American news channels? You may deny it all you want, but every government looks out for their own system, and if unsavory means are necessary for it, then you can be sure they will use it.
Your country has horrible standards of living for their people. Its a disgrace that anyone would give glory to a country whos government blatantly does not care for its people. Communism obviously does not work people!!! Thats why capitalism has been integrated into your system. Down with communism and with the Chinese government.
Since you have taken upon yourself to criticize a nation--one which you have probably never travelled to--then please use proper grammar to criticize others. You make whatever redneck shithole you crawled out of incapable of educating its people.
I have a college degree. ASS WIPE. Shut the fuck up you are probably a SLANT EYED BASTARD! Anyway I was not aware youtube was a forum where proper grammar was necessary. Next post i'll be sure to edit and spell check. Thanks for the advice. PUSSY
How you write reflects who you are. You write more like a ten year old racist child than someone with a college degree, assuming you even have one. You are a poor reflection of an American or whatever you are. If you are indeed American, the fine nation that is the United States must be ashamed of having such a citizen.
Maybe you're an American.. or a European.. you do not understand the real idea of CHINESE COMMUNISM.. it is different from what ya all know.. it benefits everyone..as you can see.. the nation is prospering.. unlike European/American nations.. you're all in despair! Rise and shine, the chinese nation!
No. The whole world had a short economic downturn. America is recovering and had gains this quarter. Recessions happen. Honestly, I live in America and it did not affect many people outside of the auto industry very bad at all. Sure people may have gotten pay cuts, but that is still a very good salary. Way better than the standard of living that the average chinese person has. Europe is also recovering. China is a world power, but has not passed the U.S. the United States is far from despair!!
What about what China is doing to Thailand. That is not right. China has a very evil government. But i won't get in your shit cuz your a cute phillipino!
it's not all about nationalities or ethnicity.. it's all about your ideology.. how you see other nations.. it's best to respect each other's perspective of running a nation.. well, we'll see the aftermath after a decade.. and china will rise like a phoenix!
you did not respect Americas or Europes prospective. You said we are in despair n China will rise. Thats not respect. I am not saying China will not rise. Thats obvious. But so too will Europe and the United States. Never will China be called the most powerful nation in the world
hell ya.. i said it because of the world's view that America and Europe have already risen.. and soon to be is china.. not to be the most powerful nation.. but the nation that caters to the world's expectations!
well.. this has been settled.. thank you for having an open mind.. sorry if i have provoked you.. but rest assured that i'd think about the things you said.. have a blessed day!
You don't know anything, "Footballjeff". The Chinese Government advances its people with fervour. It keeps counter-revolutionary scum like yourself in their proper place, labour camps, but that is certainly not a crime. You seem to be rather racist and bigoted, so I can hardly believe what you say, can I?

Ya cuz your a chinese govt dick rider. How come ppl can't critisize the government there??? Thats fair. Not allowing people to speak their mind what a great nation. Do you realize the chinese filters what you are allowed and not allowed to see online. What a great govt. I would love to have a government that spoke for me and decided what i can and can't look at online. Labor camps are a crime! There r not fair trials given in China, so much bias. You know y your govt acts like that OUT OF FEAR!
Yes, the Chinese Gov't prohibits counter-revolutionary materials from the people, so that they may be untainted. The Chinese people are given fair trials by people far more experienced in the law than the average American. The fact that you have to resort to petty insults like "dick rider" and your absolutely horrendous grammatical errors that you have as much writing experience as a twelve-year old, and the intellectual capacity of one as well.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Thats great you support such a closed minded government that exploits its people. I'm so jealous i'm not chinese. And this is fucking youtube you dumbass gook/slant eye. Am i writing anything that is formal at all? No. It does not matter how it looks as long as i get my point across. Stop being so fuckin uptight n proper n shit. LIVE A LITTLE. but your govt prob doesnt approve of that. DOUCHE BAG!! Have fun with your dictator and limited freedoms. FUCKIN RETARD
Obviously my insults have touched a nerve. By the way, I'm not Chinese, I'm English. The fact that you are calling the Chinese people "Gooks" betrays the fact that you are a crude, racist, and idiotic dipshit. So please, refrain from spouting off on YouTube.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Please suck my long hairy dick. You are a disgrace to any Englishmen. Supporting such a government. But that doesn't surprise me because your a socialist. And no you didn't strike a nerve just had to talk to you to put u in place. Do you know there is a reason why communism failed in Russia. And there is also a reason why China has capitalist elements in its economy. ITS CUZ SOCIALISM DOES NOT WORK. It gives people no motive to work hard and better themselves. GOD DAMN COMMUNIST! I HATE THEM
Capitalist Elements+Communism=Socialism. And I will respectfully deny your vulgar request. Again, I seem to be thoroughly trouncing you emotionally. And when Communism "failed" in Russia, the death, poverty, and alcoholism rates sky-rocketed, leaving Russians shell-shocked. The Russians voted to keep Communism, but Yeltsin over-ruled the people and drove his country into bankruptcy.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Ya ya just blame it on Yeltsin. No it's not from that TRUE FULL COMMUNISM did NOT WORK. Watch either china will fail or they will slowly but surely get rid of the Communist elements in their system. You are a fool, complete fool.
@ComradeMao14 What can we say about you Britts... You've surrendered UK to the name of Political Correctness... and I'm not even white and i'm having to lecture you on common sense... :-\
@ComradeMao14 i think we Chinese are smart enough to think for ourselves. There is no need for all the government censorship, if something is good and true then it will hold at the end of the day...
Proletarians! Comrades! Workers! Farmers! Rise against your oppressor, destroy the pigs, and spare what is good! Destroy the banks, spare the churches! Anglicanism and Socialism forever!
im not chinese im mauritian indian but i love china always did so fascinated with everything about the great china beautiful song maybe in past life i was a chinese lol long live china xxxxxxxxx

LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING its always about economics, greed and profits. nothing will ever truly change until the ccp dissolves itself like the ussr. the r.o.c. is not a joke. if they were the p.r.c. wouldnt want to have it so much. the r.o.c. is a very successful democratic gov. and a lucrative economy. the p.r.c. wants to control that. they dont want that kind of competition against them. those protests on the mainland are not a joke either. the ccp just downplays it. im sure they are very concerned.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 r.o.c is termed to have the MOST incompetent gov by the U.S. Foreign Affairs magazine. It is the only parliament in the world that used brawls, rather than debates to pass legislation; the only democracy in the Asia that the president can refuse to resign despite a huge corruption conviction; the only election system in which candidates buy votes from voters by setting up banquet on the street (and ironically it worked!!).
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING im sure youre exaggerating or reading it wrong. thats why they have elections. by the same token communism is two faced and cannot be trusted. would you rather have the ccp forever or a democratic gov. that the majority of people chose. you dont seem to get the concept of free political expression. by comparison communism doesnt allow any free expression without a price of oppression. no system is perfect the difference is one is imposed upon people the other is chosen by people.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 I can't find the online version of the text(here is a reference to the original issue, and I just check that it is referring to its legislature (not gov), but that's enough to prove my point. Back to the original point, I have not doubt about the pros of democracy as a system, but just that whether it will work out in the way it should be in p.r.c...or in any Chinese society
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING well thats political hairsplitting. you can find something wrong in every system if you look deep enough. i contend that nothing will ever really improve in chna until free elections are held that include the parties on taiwan. but the ccp must go first. because they will never tolerate the r.o.c. to take over the mainland even in a free election. thats why they wont even allow free elections. the ccp are arrogant, oppressive bullies. they just want to hold onto control forever
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 The political concerns are real, but not the kind of economic competition you are talking about. That's why the merger between the two chinas never take place....

LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 Taiwan's economic development (which has been in a mess for the first 8 years in the 21st century) is heavily, if not totally (and sarcastically ) depends on the mainland market. r.p.c wants taiwan because of its strategic location that allows it break the island chain set by but Americans, not because of its joke-like gov or economy. Btw, the S.A.R. system means that taiwan will not pay a single cent of tax to the central government even if p.r.c. has it.
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING the taiwan economic situation was vibrant and lucrative before any mainland cooperation. they were trading with many other countries long before mainland china. the p.r.c wants taiwan out of economic greed. the r.o.c. taiwan is 4th in the world in foreign cash reserves, gold reserves and extremely profitable. the p.r.c doesnt want that competition. they want to control it as there own. they cannot stand anyone suceeding more than themselves. its more economic than strategic.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 The 2nd largest economy in the world will not even be concerned about economic 'competition' from taiwan. p.r.c's economic competitors in the region are japan and US. If they really can not tolerate anyone doing better than them, they would have long gone for war with japan.
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING the difference is that the u.s. japan and the r.o.c taiwan are democratic and aliies. the ccp on the mainland are not allies with the r.o.c. they are fighting the civil war still, now by cross straight relations and economics as well as military threats. its not a fair comparison between the u.s. japan, taiwan and the p.r.c. the u.s. and japan have no desire to take over taiwan but the ccp does for both strategic and economic reasons.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1
Taiwan is part of the PRC. That fact is recognised by the UN and almost all the individual members. Even the Guomindang accept the 'One China' principle and support eventual 'reunification' with the mainland.
They may not tell you that on Fox News, but it happens to be true.
redword2007 5 months ago
not true. youre not understanding the political concept of strategic ambiguity. that means the u.s. and most countries acknowledge, not agree, that the prc.believes they are the one china. the consensus of 1992 where both the prc. and the roc. agreed to interpret the one china policy there own way. the roc. believes they are the one china. its all political word games. the same countries that recgonize the prc officially also unofficially recognize the roc. roc is respected around the world
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1
Exactly what is it that I said that you think is "not true"? Please be precise in your answer.
redword2007 5 months ago
i meant, taiwan is not part of the prc. that fox news did go into detail and explain what ive just explained to you. that, the concept of strategic ambiguity refers to the acknowledgement not agreement that the prc thinks they are the one china and they think taiwan belongs to them. the roc thinks they are the one china as well. taiwan belongs to the roc because it was reteurned to them after ww2 and they still possess it. the prc never did they just think they are entitled to it. there not.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1
Your verbal contortions are entertaining, but don't actually get us very far. The facts are enough in this case:
1. The PRC, ROC (so called) and the UN agree that there is one China.
2. The UN and almost all its members recognise the PRC as the legitimate government of that one China.
I understand the idea of strtaegic ambiguity, but it doesn't change these facts.
redword2007 5 months ago
im not disputing that was said. youre missing the larger point. its all politics. and economics. the same countries that officially recognize the prc. unofficially recognize the roc.. and maintain economic and poltical relations as well. you cant ignore those facts either. dont try to imply that im disingenuos the u.s acknowledges that the prc believes they are the one china but doesnt agree. the u.s.maintains realtions as an ally of the roc. the roc is not so-called. it is the true china
bigblondman1 5 months ago
i am not wrong or entertaining. i state the facts correctly. you just dont like them. that doesnt make them wrong. the prc and roc mutually agreed to interpret the one china policy there own way. thats a fact. taiwan was returned to the roc and they still possess it today. thats a fact. the republic of sun yat sen is the true china. thats a fact because the people elected it in subsequent elections. the prc never possessed taiwan. thats a fact. they arrogantly believe they are entitled to it.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
heres more facts. the treaty of san fran 1951 japan surrendered there claims of taiwan to the u.s. no one else. fact. seven hours before the treaty went into effect april 52 the roc and japan signed a treaty were japan surrendered there claims of taiwan to the roc. fact. the u.s. has legal status over taiwan by usmg. fact. the prc knows this. taiwan by treaty is a us territory fact.. they hesitate to attack taiwan unless of independence. fact. if prc attacks taiwan they attack the u.s. fact.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@redword2007 just because you commies dont like the sound of what im saying doesnt mean its wrong. its all true according to the treaty of san fran 1951 witnessed by 48 nations. international law recognizes the concept of ubi possedetis meaning as you possess. the roc has possessed taiwan since 1945. the prc never has. the problem is that the u.s. and many other countries acquiesce to the prc for economic reasons. they dont want to loose out on the big profits there are making there. all true.

just to add. the kmt did not accept the one china policy that the prc says. the consensus of 1992 states both the prc and roc are free to interpret the one china policy there own way. also, president ma ying jeou enforced his three no's policy of no force, no independence, and no reunification. that currently is accepted by over 80% of the people of taiwan. so there is no mutual harmonious agreement of the one china policy or reunification. its the ccp controlled media that doesnt tell all.

@bigblondman1 And USA is over exaggerating the news or hides the truth from the WORLD
hjtjl 1 month ago
@hjtjl no its not. its called a free press. china doesnt have that. the ccp only allows what they want to be exposed. if you want talk about exagerating look at the rt news network. they are just anti american propogandists. most chinese people never heard the truth their whole lives if all theyve heard is the ccp controlled media. thats why the real whole truth is such a shock to you.
bigblondman1 1 month ago
you can also say that communism is not the peoples' cup of tea either. not most people. you have to realize out of 1 billion 317 million people only 76 million people are communist members that control the gov. military, big business and the courts. there are civilians who are members but most or all have left. even with new members the percentage is still a small minority compared to the entire population. communism was forced on people. from the beginning. many were fooled by it.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING the r.o.c gov. is highly respected by most nations in the world. 23 officially but also 122 unofficially. im not saying they havent had there share of corruption and scandal. all governments do. even communism. the difference is that communist covers it up. dont you think they are even worse? they dont reveal half of what they do. regarding any scandals or corruption, thats why there are free elections and a free press to safegaurd the system. thats part of the democratic process
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 Hey, lad. I'm not anti-democratic or what so ever...r.o.c is democratic, which allows it to possess some of the inherent good of democracy...but it does not run the system very well, and that's pretty much obvious. I'm not comparing r.o.c with any totalitarian gov, but a horizontal comparison with other democracies. I'm wondering how do you come up with the no. of countries that 'highly respect' r.o.c...giving visa waive has nothing to do with respect for gov btw.
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING dont call me lad. im much older than you. the r.o.c. runs the system well enough to be a very successful economy. so much that the p.r.c wants to control it. they wouldnt be interested in it if it was a failed economy. and the 122 countries is not just about visa waivers, they all have diplomatic missions and maintain unofficial cultural and political relations with the r.o.c. plus the 23 nations that officially recognize the r.o.c. thats a fact, from the u.s. state department.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 fine, with all the experience you have with your senior status, your logics are still all flawed. First of all, the r.o.c economy is not performing well by Asian standard (not to say comparing to prc). The real GDP growth rate in the from 1991 to 2009 are 5.5 6.3 -2.2 3.5 3.2 6 4 4.6 5.7 0.1 -1.9 . Again, the mainland communists are not taking taiwan because of its economy, its because of its strategic location and partially cuz of national pride
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING i never said i was perfect or that youre imperfect. i just know what i know. the r.o.c. economy, is still functioning well in the long term there will always be ups and downs. that happens everywhere. that doesnt mean the system should be condemned or trashed forever. that just the life of economics. yes, the strategic aspect is important, even more back in the 50s and 60s. i just think the economic factor is primary now. ultimately, the ccp wants it all, strategic and economic
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING and you clearly dun have basic knowledge of chinese internal politics.
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING well, the ccp sure doesnt think those protests are positive. true, that is a political right to protest in a democratic society. but in a communist gov. that is not tolerated. the ccp calls all these protesters terrorists. that certainly isnt positive or tolerant coming from the ccp. the real positive sign would be for the ccp to dissolve itself. you cannot have any true democratic reform under a communist gov. free elections are needed let the people decide what they want.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 Lastly, if you have lived in China in the last ten years or have kept up with internal politics of p.r.c. you could see that p.r.c. is a totalitarian, but by no means a f***ing communist country. No one is forcing anything communist, be it cultural, economic, on ordinary citizens. r.p.c is not DPRK or USSR. There have been quite a few major protests that changed governmental decisions in this year alone.
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
@LXHFIRENKING no, i havent lived there. but i know people who have and do. i communicate with them so thats how i keep informed. it isnt the communist party of mao anymore, to be sure, but its still communist. perhaps the changes however few, is a small beginning toward a democratic direction. but my point is that democratic reform will never be fully realized until the ccp goes away somehow. i like to think it is, a little at a time, all be it slowly.
bigblondman1 5 months ago
@bigblondman1 There is no hope, at least in the near future to see the dissolution of the freaking ccp, cuz the majority of the Chinese population simply lack the gut. Despite all their complains, they just want be part of the party machine from which they could extract personal interests, rather than sacrificing their own gains for political reforms. I still believe that the dawn is near in p.r.c, but the removal of ccp is still a distant dream
LXHFIRENKING 5 months ago
the people have plenty of guts but no incentive. it appears to be a distant dream. thats because as long as the economy is stable enough most people are placated with no incentive to rebel. the ccp economy is a bubble that is about to burst. i mean soon. when it does all bets are off and youll see protests in china even more than now. that will make teieineman square look like a church picnic. if you are chinese, you should know better than to underestimate your own people. theirs always hope.
