I own HR 350z and i hated civic SIs but I raced my boys civic SI with i/h/e, seats rem and aftermarket manifold, I only pulled 2 cars on him from 40-100 MPH and he's beaten stock DE 350z , but than again he is a ridiculously good driver and probably has the quickest N/A civic SI in the states. Go to my favorites his video of running 13.5@103 at the quarter mile will prove his skills. Regardless the civic SI will never be as classy as a 350z and i doubt others cd be as fast as his. I ran 13.3@107

yep, just like toyota was suppose to remake the supra in 2008. instead we got 2.0L scion from them. honda already announced the successor to the nsx would be an eco-friendly hybrid. last time i checked, no hybrid outperforms the gtr. i'm sure it'll go well with their 'sports coupe' the crz, which is a joke

that because the fujita intake makes the HR motor lose power. everybody who has an HR knows that. The only intake that works is the Injen Long Tubes that go down to the bumper. look it up. so there you go, the 07's are quicker, your friend just modded it wrong.
The 07 arent quicker at all my friend has an 07 with dual fujita intakes and test pipes my other friend has a 06 z with that hole in the bumper dat goes straight to the intake k&n drop in and test pipes i have an 05 g35 with short ram intake and hks exhaust once we hit 50mph its lke the 07 loses all power and both the g35 and the 06 z pull on him all the way to the end so there not faster at all
yea but we cant get him till we hit like 50 mph that whole time up to 50 he's pulling on us but by the time we hit 80 we are dead even by like 100 we are about a car ahead. we race in a 1/8 mile sumtimes, he can pull 8.7 the fastest my g pulls is 9.0 and the 06 z 9.1 buttom end there good but idk if those fujita intakes help or they slowed it down

Fail boat for the 07.I have raced countless 06's and am easily 2 cars or more out on them. WIth bald tires with a nail in one.. Including a 93 twin turbo auto supra with bov and and exhaust.
I raced an RX8 with a 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6 and from 50-100 he had pulled about 1/2 a car length on me, my car is stock.
Nissan has it, my buddy's '06 Track whoops all damn day. Hell we were able to stay ahead of a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600 from 90-153 when the bike had backed off and we caught traffic.
07 Z driver needs to learn how to launch his car... The best track time on 350z forum is still the 07 350z with 13.2 1/4 mile bone stock. god knows how he get 13.2 but I ran a 13.88 with my 06 350z
