Feeder or No Feeder?
It is my hope my brothers / sisters who may have to feed their families via hunter / gather means leave their foolish 'Honorable Hunter' pride in the cabin or tent.
With limited feeding [legal in many states] you know when the day comes you need to take a deer to feed the little one, they will be around...
We just took a trip to Phoenix AZ and we didn't see one deer the entire trip. There was evidence of them having been struck but we actually saw none. We took I 20 rather than 10,45 miles longer from Baton Rouge but worth it since the road was near perfect all the way and plenty of cell reception along with radio stations to listen to. On thanksg day we returned was able to drive 1,200miles to Longview 0500-0200 stopped for dinner and the females had to p.

my grandparents have a backyard right next to the woods so we saw lots of a deer and a wild turkey and one time the deer were fighting for the bird food (seeds that fell from the bird feeder) on the ground.
I personally don't like hunting with a feeder. It's not really hunting at all, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Hunting the old fashion way builds up your hunting skills. Plus, it doesn't take away the deers natural survival instinct to find food.

If all of all againts the law the shot any game at a deer feeder and second he is allowed to shot the game as long as its away from the feeder at least 100 yards away from it. Read the rule book before you start to bitch.
