I find that using two Crisagrims, and equip them in each hand, and press both use buttons repeatedly makes for even faster enemy kills.

it is effective but risky.the Al shield has to touch the enemy so you cant doge realy.my sugjestion is use the sword famillier at max power and(if you have beaten the game and farmed the Parenthropi)1 or 2 rings of Varda.it takes longer but you wont get hit as much.oh and my sugestion for maxing the sword pet is the spectral sword in the reverse chapel but kill the shields and spears first.

A good tip is use the Shield only when you're about to hit the enemy, so in that way you MP keeps longer, thus you dont have to recharge yor MP in the Save Room =)

you do realize you can get the duplicator and use power of shrine and kill the guardians without taking any damage

when i do the shield spell with alucard shield when it can hurt people i make the rod to mama prism

Alucard shield is definitely the best way to take those Guardians out, Crissaegrim is the next best thing if you can find it. One thing though, only bring out the shield when next to the enemy, if you keep the shield on the whole time then your MP goes down quickly. Also the spell will last for about 70 seconds if the shield is out the entire time. I kinda wish they would let you use the cross normally instead of it's crash mode, I mean seriously, 100 hearts!!

Truthfully that is the fastest way to gain experience seing as how much experience the guardians give.

But even then eventually the guardians give out barely any experience

equip the mystic pendant and no need to worry bout magic just use the shield at the enemies to save on magic too..
