Good video. I snapped the barrel off my son`s brake cable when trying to adjust it. Just felt guilty and had to drive him to work. Tomorrow I`ll buy a brake cable for £3 and do the job myself and save a few quid by doing it myself. Lots of thanks.
This is a very good tutorial and was helpful to me. I had the general idea of how to do it, but after watching this video I was able to replace a broken brake cable without any extra fuss.
I love this guy! And I love his accent too...made watching the video that much more enjoyable as well. Very helpful...and I agree with the comment about the cameraman's awesomeness as well. I couldn't see anything on anyone else's videos...and they all went too fast, like it was a contest. Top marks to this guy, for sure!
You are AWESOME!! Thank you so much for explaining how everything goes together. The close-up camera shots are very helpful. I think I can fix my own brake cable after watching your video - though I think I'd rather have you come to my house and fix it for me so I can watch you do it ;-).
the best bicycle brake cable tutorial yet...and my favorite part is adding informative bonuses like 3:43 (replacing brake pipe) & 7:54 (please discard the cables safely & in an environmentally friendly fashion)
even the camera man did a great job following him & the focus shots! very well done & great video!

Finally, a video on bikes that has not been created by a silly American fool! He sounds Irish but not sure!

Much better video than some of the others. They go too fast. Thanks, I was able to save $15 doing it myself!

wish i could do it that easy. never seem to get the same tension once the bolt is released when i try to put the cable back in the nut.
this guy also did it whilst holding the bike upright where i struggle using both hands and it resting on a wall.
TOP MARKS and next time I am gonna have this video running next I try to attempt it
