i like this remake i think its a great remake of a great song

but i think the parts of the vid that shows that army "at work" is just horrific, i mean y did that soilder have to kick that guy in the head as he was walking past he was defence less he didnt have to do it but did any way. i know ppl are gonna comment back to this comment telling me to get a life and such but i think that it was a bit much. did they even hear of dont kick a guy when hes down?

not being funny but why do people always get a thumbs down for not liking it? surely we are all entitled to our opinion???? i personally hate this effort as it is way to heavy on the ears and the whole idea behind the original for this piece was to capture the mystery of space, the approaching invasion, the heat ray and the people of earth and this does none of that. however, thats not to say these guys aint talented bcos they are, but this was not a good effort.

The footage of the tripods is taken from a film I got on Ebay (Australian) that I think was made for a college project originally ... not 100% sure, though.

Jeff Wayne's musical came out in 1978, the original H.G.Wells book came out in 1898. Alchemist recorded this tribute to both in 1998, 100 years after the book, 20 years after the (rock) musical.
