I just read that seagulls mate for life on a book about marriage and divorce (for people, that is ! :D ) and the author mentions a naturalist who after observing the life of gulls saw that sometimes even seagulls decide to divorce because of incompatibility and leave to find happiness with another bird. Only sometimes... I think this seagull is waiting for its other half, looking out at the sea. I do the same...
