Besides, I couldn't ever get "adblock' etc to stop advertisements & embedded commercials from playing *in the actual video* before it starts. Any pointers in that dept

@rg2027x hmm, sounds like it wasnt installed right then as it stops every ad on youtube, even the square ones to the right of the video. and pretty much every ad on the web. it takes up pretty much no ram what so ever as i havnt noticed a difference at all. you should try it again pal (plus firefox by far the best browser out at the minute)

@TheSamJ it was installed correctly : ) Yeah...lol. Made sure of that. I've yet to see adblock stop ads embedded *within* videos. Sure it blocks ads on webpages which is great, but @ start of YouTube videos? embedded inside a video? Couldn't find a setting. +1 on FF.

(btw that's what I was referring to with comment above, ads that play at beginning of videos in the actual video itself, then "skip this ad" box pops up after 6 seconds...Love to find software to get rid of that bs!)
